Going for a EEG, MRI, etc. My CT scan looked great, blood work was good. What test was able to show the issue for you?

Heavy spinning rod for a kid
St Croix Premier 7' H, Mojo Inshore 7' H are options. But St Croix Hs are powerful a MH may suit you well. I would stay with St Croix due to the warranty deal

Received Bad News
2 days ago when driving home from work at 7 pm I ran off the road (lucky no one was hurt) and family admitted me to the hospital as I was completely unaware that I ran through 2 of the yards in my neighborhood and running over bushes and shrubs. Somehow got home and was so clueless. Co-workers have also witnessed small cases while at work. Went to the hospital and it appears that I had an absence seizure in which I can no longer operate any motorized vehicle (boat, truck, etc). Very upset as I scratched my new vehicle all which can be buffed out but having to pay $350 and now feel useless as I have to taken everywhere and my family is scared to let me do anything alone. The next few months I will be back and forth to doctors to hopefully figure everything out and get back to fishing. To those of you healthy mentally and physically, enjoy it and always be grateful! Happy Holidays and be safe!

Xtasy 755 or NRX 894C
NRX wins in terms of sensitivity over the Xtasy. Xtasy is good but the Megabass Valdivia and St Croix 7'4 H Legend Elite are other option id consider. I like my Xtasy rods but I like my St Croix, Megabass, and G Loomis more. Steez AGS rods are sweet too

Kistler Helium 3 fans, here's some news
Before I knew of the bad reputation they built, I bought 2 Z Bones (last generation) both were good but not blow away. Sold and went to Megabass, St Croix, and G Loomis and been happier. Both had good QC but stories of not standing behind there product scared me, so i sold them. Happier now! Not here to convince anyone but just sharing my experience. Try and find for yourself. Find what works for you.

Kistler Helium 3 fans, here's some news
Super bad about 10 years ago. They lost a ton of dealers and left customers in a bad spot after the incident. Ultimate bass has a thread explaining there breaking issue they went through and the bad reputation they received. NFC helped them overcome the stigma of bad quality as NFC makes quality blanks. Afraid Kistler will go overseas and produce a subpar rod.. Hope the best for them though

3rd rig shopping
I'd opt for a 843C MBR as it will be extremely versatile

Reel to pair with Orachi?
The Chronarch MGL as it's a sweet reel! They are so smooth and refined. I'd opt for the Chronarch MGL. Lightweight, smooth and one of my favorites.

Shimano reels 20% off Black Friday on TW?
No I don't think Shimano/G Loomis is a part of that sale

G Loomis GLX vs. Rainshadow Eternity / Testament
Just go with the GLX. You won't be upset. The GLX is a great rod.

Specific jig rod help
You sir didn't read my post. I said around cover. Never did I say heavy cover. A 7'2 MH Expride wouldn't be able to handle a 1 oz jig effectively. It would overload the blank. For use of skipping dock, under brush (which are all forms of cover), you'd want the H with 1/2 and 5/8 oz jigs the OP suggested he will be using. I happen to own both rods.
-
Specific jig rod help
It's Expride not Exprite, plus the 7'2 H would be better suited for 1/2 and 5/8 oz jigs.1/2 and 5/8 th oz jig plus trailer will be pushing 3/4 of an ounce plus pitching around cover you'll want the H power. I own both and you'll want H around cover with 1/2 oz jigs not the MH...

Specific jig rod help
You'll get a million answers. While an open mind is good, it can also be chaos. In your price range, the Expride and Helium are the top dogs. I'd pick the Expride personally and pick the model you think best fits what you plan to do. Highly recommend the 7'2 H Expride.

Specific jig rod help
Expride > Helium. Go with the Expride. You'll thank us all later lol. 7'2 H Expride

Garmin vs Hummingbird?
I'd be interested in both

Unpainted Tungsten Weights?
Personally, I do not think its makes a big difference if its chipping. People fished with unpainted lead weights for years. Most things are more in the heads of particular fishermen.

Alpha Slasher vs Megabass Jerkbait Special
Go with the Megabass. Not even a question about it. Its exactly what I feel you are looking for.

Kistler helium 3, shimano Expride or megabass orochi xx ??
Great choice! I tend to agree but they do have a following. Talked to Trey Kistler himself a few times and is a good guy from what I have experienced. But I have Zbones and Helium and not overly impressed. Mine balances good but the performance and sensitivity for the price is good but underwelming IMO considering the price. They are good but never get the boat ride just stay at the house unfortunately. Ultimately, everyone is entitled to there opinion and they will all differ which is why we have so many products on the market. Buy what you like and fish on ?
