Thanks so much guys! Will some of these glue hold pretty good to keep that on the rod, or should I wrap tape around it too?

Today I accidentally slammed my trunk door down on the handle of my Ugly Stik rod. The end piece of cork got cut off. I was hoping to glue it back on but was hoping I could find something very durable since it’s the butt end of my rod. Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

Thanks for that man! Sometimes I wonder if some people give bad reviews on stuff just because it’s not their favorite brand, and actually not based on the performance of the product. Ived used Xps finesse jigs and jig heads over the past 3 years and have never had an issue. A lot of people knock the Offshore Angler Extreme Fluorocarbon. I really don’t think those people actually looked at the small print and noticed that it is made by SEAGUAR. I’ve never had an issue with that line. Again thanks for posting. ?

Thanks guys, by what you all said, I’ll be sticking with the Gammy’s. While I’m doing that, I’ll get a pack of the Xps’s to test out for a while when not worried about losing a big one.

Not necessarily asking which one is better. Just asking how you guys feel the Xps compares to the Gamakatsu EWG? I usually buy all gamakatsus, but to save money wanted to see if the Xps’ will hold their own and get the job done. I’ve already started catching some bass on them, but wanted to see if any of you guys have had more extensive experience with them. Thankyou!

I’ve always had great confidence in all the Powerbait offerings from BERKLEY. Several years ago when the maxscent stuff came out I tried them out and wasn’t getting much out if them. What have been you guys’ experience or thoughts? Do you feel the Maxscents are that much better to choose them over the powerbaits or not much of a difference. Thanks for any and all help!

I will mostly be fishing a bunch of local ponds, and forest preserve lakes. The forest preserve lakes are very clear with submerged vegetation. The ponds are all good sized retention ponds and neighborhood lakes. Can be pretty weedy. With lower visibility in these ponds. I will be fishing Senkos, Creature baits, plastic worms, and keitech swim baits.

What lb. test Flouro leader do you guys recommend for Largemouth? Or should I even concern myself with a leader? I have mainly used it in case the fish can see the braid. Thanks

Thankyou, I haven’t fished the Kank in a few years, I gotta get out there. Normally when I fished it, it was from just east of the 55 bridge to the confluence.

That’s cool to know guys, thanks very much for sharing that. I was really happy and excited about it, I just didn’t know what others think about a bass of that size. It just inspires me more and more to figure out how to target the bigger bass in each of these waters I fish to be more consistent. I love it! That’s funny dude!
