  1. I have sold off a number of round reels, but kept a few. 2 each Luna 103 2 each M3600 Morrum 1 each SX3600 Morrum 2 each 3600 Black Max 2 each 1600 Black Max 2 each 4600C4 upgraded to C5 2 each 4600C3 upgraded to C5 1 each 4600C5 Mag. I love them all
  2. Ya, nothing feels as good as a solid block of aluminum.
  3. I thinks it's kind of funny all the young guys want light reels, and I am well over 60 and do my deep cranking with a M3600 Morrum.
  4. Stren original. Fireline braid Cabela's Fluorocarbon
  5. Will the Main and Pinion gear from a Revo Winch, be an exact replacement for a Revo SX '09? If not what 4:7-1 or 5:1-1 gears will fit. Also will the winch handle be a direct replacement for the SX ('09) handle?
  6. I like a medium fast in either an avid or Techna AV. Reel 6:3-1.
  7. Over the last several months I have been using Cabelas No Vis Fluorocarbon line in 20lb test, for all of my plastics. I have had no problem with memory (KVD) or knot problems (Palomar). The price is $20.00 for 400 yards which is a great deal.
  8. I thought that Fluorocarbon line was not effected by UV or heat.
  9. Big Game has a lot of stretch. Stren, XT and Dura Tuf (discontinued) less.
  10. I have decided on the Premier, just because of the bearings and the additional line capacity. I have a standard Patriarch wide spool and it work fine for the 15 to 20 lb. line I normally use. Thanks for the input.
  11. Thinking of buying one or the other. Anybody used the XT?
  12. I bought some bulk spools of this line last year as close outs 12 and 14 lb. I know it was discontinued, but has anybody used it and if so what is your opinion? I only used the 14lb on a spinnerbait rod and had no problems. I did notice that the line is thicker then standard mono, more like CXX.
  13. I use the same reel, rod and line for Frogs and Toads.
  14. Has anybody used this line? What about abrasion resistant? Any info would be helpful.
  15. Won a tournament back in the early 80's with a black/grape tournament worm. Bought some last year on line, but have not used them, maybe this year.
  16. Great price on a great rod. I have two spinning and love them both.
  17. Casts good, just around cover lay downs, bushes etc. is seems to fray easily
  18. Has anybody besides me have had a problem with the abrasion resistance of 15 LB. Y0-Zuri Hybred? Did I get a bad spool? No where near XT, Big Game or CXX should I try another spool or is this normal? >
  19. If your a line watcher and the MONO is abrasion resistant I can't think of a reason not to try it. Some people are just Berkley haters, and if they hear something from their aunts brother twice removed the its Fact.
  20. I changed to the straight shank hook last year, and my hook up ratio is better. I still use the EWG on tubes and sweet beavers, but all the rest are rigged with the straight shank.
  21. This has a direct affect on everybody. Not, the pros go to whomever gives them the most money.
  22. I would do the following: 7' MHXF 20-25 lb. Mono. 7' HXF 17 lb Floro. (I don't like this rod for top water) 6' 6" M Casting 15 lb Floro or Hybrid 6'6" Spinning 20lb braid with Floro leader
