All line twists especially spinning gear, even braid. I’ve had this happen to me with new power pro on spinning Reels. Once the line breaks in it seems to go away…plus if it’s not negatively impacting performance I wouldn’t worry about it

I got it to the surface but wouldn’t wobble.

@PhishLI gave me this tip. I tried it the other night no takers. Couldn’t really get it to wake it would sit just below the surface

Do you prefer the 4/0 or 5/0 for the 5” senko?

This is the exact hook I’m using it’s a vmc EWG. I use this hook because the offset part below the eye is tapered up slightly which prevent the senko from sliding down. I’ve had the senko slide down way to many times down the hook using a regular gamakatsu ewg where the offset below the eye is more straight

Anyways to prevent weeds from Hanging up on the hook bend near the eye when Texas rigging a weightless senko? Fishing the weedy lakes and ponds l by me this becomes a nuisance. I’ve attached a photo where the weeds keep getting caught up

I just started fishing zoom flukes. Rod is a Dobyns 703 casting rod with 12lb big game. I think I’ve had a few hits but missed them. What are the hits like with a fluke? Do they spit it out fast or do they hold onto it more like a senko. Should I wait a second or set the hook immediately?

No rocking. Looks like the reel seat is just a little off center

I noticed after putting my spinning reel on the guides are a little off center to the left of the reel seat? Will this have any negative impact on the rod aside from my OCD kicking in? lol

Is it normal for this stuff to get fuzzy looking after a few trips? Doesn’t seem to have an effect on performance but I’ve never had power pro do this

When tightening the knot the line is breaking just above the knot. What am I doing wrong? Using 7 wraps up 7 down. also sometimes have trouble getting the wraps to come close together. Any tricks to cinching it down easier?

When tying the overhand knot are you supposed to snug it before you pull the loop through or leave it loose?

I’m curious the proper way to cinch the knot as well. I was always told to pull both the mainline and tag at the same time and then pull the tag end and finally the mainline. My buddy pulls the main and tag end and then does a final test by just pulling on the mainline then cuts the tag. I guess my question is is it necessary to pull the tag end line by itself after cinching down the main and tag end together?

Are the double lines around the hook eye supposed to be next to each other or can they cross? How many wraps do you do with the double clinch?

I was pulling pretty hard to cinch it. I guess it’s possible I was putting more pressure on the knot then it can handle. I was told to just draw the knot up tight but not over pull on it as they can weaken it it mainly happens with 10-15kb braid

When you draw the knot up what lines are you pulling?

It happens on braid anywhere from 10-30lb
