  1. Does anyone know of a tray/box organizer for these type of boxes? They make giant totes for them which promptly crush or don't stay open when dropping in a box since they are fabric like these things: https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/flambeau-tuff-tainer-5000-tote-bag. Looking for something like a molded plastic tray like so: https://youtu.be/2mEMIkVMMZ8?t=363. Would buy these if they are available. since it is exactly what I am looking for, but no skeeter dealers anywhere near me.
  2. If you are looking for a cheaper option, check out the Crestliner Bass Hawk. Welded version of the Lund Pro-V, cheaper in some aspects (like the rod locker flexes and zero dry storage)
  3. Pretty much crappy fishing spinning rod combo I would buy for beginners, since they are cheaper than a spincast outfit. Limit 2 though (and no free shipping). $10 https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/daiwa-d-shock-2500-66-m-freshwater-spinning-rod-and-reel-combo?repChildCatid=957904&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=Slickdeals+LLC&utm_content=13806814&utm_source=CJ&utm_term=44fe69e49e4c11eba940ea7718e137e00INT&cjevent=4543bcd79e4c11eb80d300500a82b832&linkName=468x60_Color_Logo&ogmap=AFF|RTN|1122587|STND|MULTI|SITEWIDE|||13806814
  4. Bad idea - your fake Christmas tree is going to fall apart as soon as the wire in the tree rusts apart and releases all that plastic everywhere. The best fish attracters are 5 gallon buckets with sprinkler tubing (cause it cheap) as it lasts forever and doesn't snag your lures like a real Christmas tree or anything natural does. You do have to check your states laws on where you put them as states differ. Here is plastic and real differences: https://myfwc.com/fishing/freshwater/sites-forecasts/fish-attractors/
  5. Fish gripper - the pliers part, well, for holding the fish. The teeth part (where is actually says Fish Gripper) is the descaler part.
  6. Those cheap outboards? Heard parts are impossible to find for em if you ever need them. Would think you would be better off with 12v trolling motor + battery but there is also this video:
  7. Join a local fishing club - the guys who don't fish for money. Get friends, learn something new and they usually have a ton of stuff to clear out. Broke? Try a few garage sales - you don't get the latest tackle but last I checked the OG Rapala floating minnows still worked and I have some from the 70s. Goodwill is a find too if you have them near you.
  8. Couldn't you just take any ole hollow body frog and throw in large worm or tube rattles in the thing? https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?ffrom=BASRES&sort=no&start=0&count=30&searchtext=rattles
  9. One of my goals in fishing is to actually catch something on a Johnson silver minnow with leech trailer like shown in on the cover of Fishing Facts magazine. I even have the Uncle Josh's pork black eel trailer to give it a real shot. But agreeing with Mobasser - white jig (or in my case white Road Runner) @Everyone else - he said lure not bait, no cheating with live bait (minnow, worm, etc)
  10. I have wasted more than $40 on other stuff, and this seems well, fun. Ordered, will review if I remember.
  11. This guy explains the reason why you should replace the fuel lines:
  12. I always just let some water get into the bilge and threw some dawn in there and let the agitation of towing or driving the boat around do the work for me (with plug in).
  13. Yes, you do not need a transducer hooked up to the 93 sv just for livescope. I do this now. This is exactly like the ice fishing guys do, 93sv and livescope with no transducer. The Minn Kota trolling motor with the SI and DI transducer will not work with the 93sv unless you buy the transducer adapter cables such as US2 Adapter Cable / MKR-US2-12 - Garmin Echo which totally defeats the purpose of your high end transducer on your minn kota to the garmin as it would just turn your transducer into a us2 unit. In other words, your minn kota mega si transducer will not work with the garmin unit. This why you will see guys running multiple units up front. Are you looking to hook up the new minn kota transducer to both the garmin and minn kota displays at the same time?
  14. That is not how the internet works... LOL https://streamable.com/hjl49p
  15. Also note - all 10" job site saws like SKILSAW SPT70WT-01, Bosch GTS1031, DeWalt DW745 and etc. are no longer produced due to new safety guidelines, they are all 8 1/4" blades in the updated versions.
  16. I just went through the same thing - boat was brand new, never seen water and the motor needed: Fuel rails cleaned out, new impeller, fuel pump cleaned out, oil change, clean out the VST tank - it was like $600 altogether - and we are talking about a brand new motor.
  17. Have Bosch table saw - paid a ton for it 15 years ago and it has never let me down since. As for the blades, I used Diablo blades - which Bosch owns. Bosch sold off the Skil division a few years ago. I cannot comment on the drills/impact drivers from Bosch as the ones I have I don't really use much but the 1/2 adapter on the impact driver is a nice touch. The X-Lock grinder Bosch came up with I wish they would license to the other manufacturers. Side note: I am not really brand loyal but I can be - I work for Bosch. And yes, our discounts are amazing but I cannot resell. Plus not losing my job over that silly stuff.
  18. Bass Pro Shops $100 gift card through email for $85 https://www.paypal.com/us/gifts/brands/bassproflashsale
  19. LPT: Always join the lottery pool at work. You are not gambling, you are buying insurance. Insurance that you are not the only one still at work when the pool wins and everyone quits.
  20. Sell it - it is not really a spare is it? A true spare swaps out in less than 30 seconds. Ever try to go from Ultrex to Terrova or any other spare? Don't have the same quick disconnect on the plug and the mounts? Don't even have a quick disconnect? Got plugs on each motor? Oh, dropped that stupid nut into your boat never to be found again? Going from Terrova to Force this year and I am selling mine - its going to collect dust like all my other replacement trolling motors I just wound up giving away to make room for other crap.
  21. Took about 2 days, it was not automatic
  22. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DKX813Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 I got like 4 transducer boards out of this one, as I wanted a thicker material. But yes, that board you listed will do the same.
  23. Watch this to understand side imaging, most important part is where your boat is located vs. what you see on the graph.
  24. Note: if you are in demo mode - you don't even have to hook up the transducer. As for sidefinder - if you just want to look at the right hand side of the screen (or left) you can setup the view that way also.
  25. Have 3 of them - price is good since it comes with the gt54 transducer.
