My first bass boat
Email them to yourself and save on the desktop. Use that for the "choose files". That's if you're using a computer.

Dropshot Weight
Using pliers I pinch a worm weight on the line. If it slides you can adjust the height. Am I cheap or frugal?

Daiwa Regal LT 2500
I have a couple of older ones and they work good and smooth. The only drawback is their weight. I have a 200 Tatula and it's 3 oz lighter. Also a 2500 is, IMO, way too big for an ultra light and 4 lb line.

Took my neighbor...
As many of us would like to fish with you. Me included.

Took my neighbor...
to the Rainbow River this morning. We caught upwards of 30 bass, mostly small but with several larger units. Used worms with light line knowing the river is extremely clear. If you could see the fish they wouldn't bite. He is a large guy and his fish is larger than mine.

NGK BUHW-2 #5526 is no longer available. What is everyone using instead? 1987 Mercury Classic 50.

What’s your thoughts on trimming jig skirts?
My wife says all you guys should stay away from skirts, unless invited.

Don't need no stinking boat or robe.
Threw a worm in the pond late this morning a few times and had a bite. When I felt better, a couple of years ago, I'd go to the river or lake and bring home a limit of bass and stock the pond all winter. We had otters then but haven't seen them for a couple of years. Can see why they're called black bass.

kayak people. your rods.
I have never taken more than 2 rods so it doesn't matter. One in my hand and the other next to my seat.

Old Grumman Renegrade.
I've had an '87 Grumman 16' bass boat for about 5 years or so and use it several times a week. It has a Merc Classic 50 on the back. My problem is it shakes with any chop on the water. The console and the whole floor shakes. I can plane at a slower speed to smooth it out but wonder if I can inject Great Stuff under the floor to keep the shaking down. The hull is the shape of a Tracker.

Several years ago...
Just found this picture. Taken in the late 70s early 80s probably @ Lake Castaic or Piru with our daughter.

First time in a week.
Haven't been fishing at all this week and had a chance today for about 3 hours. Went to a canal on the river that I haven't been to this winter. They sprayed the whole canal recently and the vegetation hasn't grown back in most places but there was some and I caught 3 bass and 2 rock bass all on a worm.

Experience with Interstate Lithium?
Just looked through Amazon for lithium batteries and found this. $123 for a 100ah lifepo4 battery. 3 years ago I paid $300 for a 50ah lithium and a 10a charger. I don't have to charge it but every 3rd day I use it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP6WNN96/ref=syn_sd_onsite_desktop_0?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_plhdr=t&aref=mynDZUBfI7&th=1

Time to Make Changes
Up until last year I kayak fished in rivers, always downhill and have a boat for places I can fish comfortably. The most rods I took in the kayak were 2 with all my tackle in my PFD. Launching and retrieving the boat aren't a problem, it's walking to the parking lot and back for me.

Bluegill rod.
That blank is over twice the cost of the blank I used.
