Ehh this is an attempt to "prove the negative", the fishery may be even better without the irritation to the spawning fish but we'll never know. I don't really want to die on this hill because i know there's dozens more tournaments that do the same thing but we don't ever notice and the last thing I want is more government intervention here. I think it's fine the way it is but it just slightly irritates me that we still do this at the top series. I guess the counterpoint to this is BASS has probably contributed more to conservation than any other similar group.

I am too, I just need to find something to complain about.

Christie's in Jacks Creek I fished that exact area last week and caught nothing on the trees. Everything I caught came from grass edges.

Specifically the one with Swindle, Palaniuk and the other MLF cast aways talking about why they left to come back to BASS. Whatever though, i'm not trying to start a flame war between the two on here, that's been done several times. I enjoy watching both formats.

This is the first BASS coverage i've watched in a while. Not really impressed with the coverage so far, especially compared to MLF. I wish they'd show more coverage. That being said I think this is going to be a good tournament. I fished on Hartwell yesterday evening and caught a few really nice spots out deep. Kinda obvious but the deciding factor is going to be who can get a couple nice largemouth bites.

Can't wait to see how Hartwell fishes tomorrow. I fished it Tuesday and got a ton of bites but most were small, similar to what we're watching now on Smith.

Ehh, it's his skill paired with the tools. We've got 3 guys at the bottom of the tracker without a fish, i'm sure every single one of those guys has forward facing sonar.
