Tow a 2,960lbs boat with a vehicle that has a 3,500lbs. tow rating?
Your under the manufacturers max stated weight by a pretty decent amount. Don't over think this is will be fine. I sure as hell wouldn't be considering selling my boat because of it

Deciding on new depthfinder/ di, si, or both
Ive used lowrance on other guys boats and the user friendly-ness if that is a word is was better on a bird. Also I feel the image is 100 times better. I recently put a helix 9 gen 2 mega on the front of my boat and that thing is sick. The detail is unreal. Search for used deals. Guys upgrade graphs like they do cell phones, plenty of good used deals out there. That is how I found mine. Year old or so and I only gave 550 for it If you don't smudge and get the screen dirty while touching it you must be doing something different than everyone I know that made the mistake of buying a touch screen unit

Deciding on new depthfinder/ di, si, or both
I'm a humminbird guy so I always reccomend that. 2nd Garmin and last lowrance. A touch screen will constantly be covered in fingerprints. It's hard enough keeping a graph screen clean I don't need any extra help dirtying it up. SI works better at a few mph so if you fish alot of electric only lakes where your on the trolling motor moving alot it can be beneficial.if not moving images are extremely drawn out. If you want to veritcal fish alot DI is almost a must in my eyes.

Fanally caught bass on the WACKY RIG
All I fish is the n.e seeings how I live in Ohio. We fish some of the most pressured body's of water in the state. My slowing down is slow dragging worms and flipping finesse jigs.

Light line on baitcasters
10 pound line is far from light line. Use your drag and the action of the rod to get any fish back to the boat

Fanally caught bass on the WACKY RIG
I've never caught a fish on a wacky rig. Or a senko for that matter. If I can't catch them power fishing I'd rather leaver. As finesse as I get is a Shakey head.

Tournament Choice Rod?
Never once looked at any date haha

Tournament Choice Rod?
The admittance of only buying daiwa shows you don't care about buying high quality either

Round Handle Knob handles On Baitcast Reels - Question
I'll use any knobs as long as they're flat. Those round ones are just flat out uncomfortable

Broken rod tip affect on specs?
You have basically given yourself an extra fast action rod

Wow. Bad time to need to restock on baits.
I agree. The guys at FC make sure the store is stocked at any and all costs. Gets awful expensive only being 15 minutes away

Tow a 2,960lbs boat with a vehicle that has a 3,500lbs. tow rating?
I'm going against what everyone else says and say you will be fine. Your under the max rating a pretty good amount. Sure stopping will take a little extra distance. Just drive smart

Crestliner drain plug leaking?
Don't stress much about it. It's likely going to be something super simple. Especially if it only happens when running the outboard

Portage lakes Ohio
How did you do? They killed most of the weeds the fish are in a serious funk right now. Weights were down at the Monday nighter for everyone

Can I Fish From A Pool Float?
It will work. When we were younger and a little less "smart" .. wise?? Whatever you want to call it. 4th of July party at the busiest lake around here 6 of us decided it would be a good idea to use a blow up pool as a boat. It worked sorta. Made it half way across the lake then got " escorted " back by the rangers. Let us know how it goes

Green/blue baits--a theory
You guys keep using those colors. I'll keep using black with red since it's the only color that works ...... ?

Crestliner drain plug leaking?
Water line from speedo or backwash when coming off plane are my two guesses

Dock skipping setup
Ark money maker Randall Tharp series 7'3 MH Fast with a curado 70 . The only thing I use a spinning rod for is weightless worms and finesse techniques. Skipping for me is easier with a casting rod than a spinning rod.

Need all opinions
I agree 4 hours would suck a big one. But 25 min? The only thing easier than that would be having them come to your house. If someone is buying a new boat dealer reputation NEEDS to be taken into consideration. Do you want to buy from dealer "A" the guy that just wants your money, or buy from dealer "B" the guy that will stand behind the customer when an issue shows up? We have dealer "A" 45 min from here and dealer "B" 1.5 hours away. Both dealers sell exact same brands. Guess which one gets the majority of the business on boat sales and service

Need all opinions
Tracker gets a bad rap. But with that said. I'm fishing out of an 01 pro team 165 with no issues other than regular maintenance. Theirs so many good affordable options for boats out there these days. Go with what is in your budget. And yes my boat is still on the original wood floors. Keeping a boat kept under roof when not in use is the key to a boat living a long happy life . My dad has a ranger aluminum bass and it's excellent. Great layout, truly dry storage, gets on plane in next to no time with the 115. He bought his before the buyout so I don't know how quality has changed with ranger but I'm sure something's have likely changed. Biggest factor for me would be dealer support/reputation. If you have to drive a little farther to purchase from a kick ass dealer then do it.

Mann's loudmouth
Finally got to out these to work today. The fish sure do like them. The hooks are absolutely the worst I've ever seen on a bait though. Will be getting replaced asap

Swim Jig Bite
It's like I tell my old lady. As long as things get done my way, theirs no wrong way haha

Swim Jig Bite
I have a buddy who told me one time I set the hook to hard on a jig. We don't fish together much anymore
