the biggest tip i have to say is to surround yourself with other, better fisherman. You will learn a lot off of other people. Also just be persistant and don't be afraid to ask questions. The other thing is do not get frustrated out there on the water. Sometimes days are slow, so don't give up, you will catch the big one if you keep working. So just ask questions and read the posts. Good luck and i hope you find what you need on this site. Im not an expert myself, but i will be happy to try and answer any questions you have. And i don't know much about georgia bass fishing so i probably won't be the biggest help. Good luck.

So, my school doesnt have a fishing club, and i thought i should try to make one. If it works out, what exactly are some things you could do with it. I was thinking we could plan outings and whatnot and like, enter tournaments and whatnot. But when we dont do that, what should we do. Just wondering, because i would like to find something that would be productive. Any suggestions would be much appreciated ;D

I cant really remember my first fish and it was only probably 10 years ago. But i was just a little kid who went fishing with his uncle on vacation one day. I was trying to fish and i was having trouble casting. I tried to get the cast and it didnt work. The rod eventually came out of my hands and was lost on the lake bottom. My uncle was very mad because it was a pretty good rod. I was discouraged. But he forgave and told me to keep trying because i was so discouraged from what had happened. I then caught a little fish,thinking it was a bass, a little one. But that was what i think my first fish was. And its too bad that i stopped fishing for a while. But after i came back, the first fish i caught, was a nice 14 inch bass. Immediately when it hit the water, the bass hooked on and it was so much fun. I decided to bring fishing back into my life then.

A late welcome to this site from another newcomer.

blue gill jumped out of the water towards my hook and landed on the shore. Also one time had to battle a bass with my hands(had to pull the line in with my hands).

Ha. I can't say i have ever tried this. I guess im gonna have to try out of my own curiousity.

i have to say, there is nothing like a conversation witha fish. They listen very well. Ha. It's nice to know fisherman are trying to relate to their fish. ha.
