Decoy snap on all my hard swimbaits. Direct tie on soft baits.

I use the San Diego Jam knot from 2 - 100 lb braid and never a problem. Actually use it for all lines.

My primary(hp limited) lake is 32 minutes driveway to ramp. My close to home lake is 3 minutes driveway to ramp but wakeboats/jet ski take over after winter.

I stick my self sometimes handling my lures with Owner hooks. Zero chance of me going under water to unstick one.

Bad. I haven't seen any rods rated to lift **lbs of fish. I net every bass so it'll be muscle memory when it matters. When I'm bank fishing I don't carry a net so they get lipped.

Nothing wrong with being frugal. But denying the Monkey can get you hurt.? I was told that you need a rod & reel for each type of lure and each weight of that lure. Is that not correct? Wait. Wait. No. That's actually what I told my wife.
