  1. Even if your not in a boat, there is a lot of shore line.
  2. FISH-A-PALOOZA has gotten big, this is going to be incredible. Be there guys. Guys from 2 forums will be rocking it out.......
  3. I will know today if I have a open spot in my boat for FISH-A-PALOOZA..........Take the hint Trevor.
  4. From the guys I talked to about it, it seems kinda Burke Lake-ish. Big fish and over fished.
  5. Dan, you know I'm a mechanic........Get it, I'll fix it. Who else is down for FISH-A-PALOOZA?? I'll put you on a PB, but no guarantee....
  6. LOL, now that I read it carefully ...............I'm trippin'! But there are deals to be had.
  7. http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/boa/680206800.html
  8. You guys need to look on Craigslist. I see some great deals.....Kinda.
  9. The post-spawn funk is over. I went out this morning to see whats happening at the local pond. I crushed them on my lucky popper. Landed 11 and lost a "BIG" one due to some hardcore daydreaming. The funny thing was that it hit the popper really lightly, kinda like a bluegill pecking at it. 2 biggest at 4 pounds and 5 other keepers and the rest of them dinks. 3 more came on a watermelon/pepper Senko.......... Memorial day should be killer. We are having "FISH-A-PALOOZA". It is a Kayak, Canoe and Jon boat event. Who's game???? Pm for details!
  10. My buddy fished it the other day in Aqua Creek and killed them......
  11. I suspect that you have to much line on your reel. I own the 8035 and never have run into that problem.
  12. When does the line break? Is it on the hook set? I use light line and have landed some good sized bass. I'm using old school hybrid.
  13. I have heard it and it'd not a line issue. It seems to be more of a screach/dry bearing noise. I have what you need Dan.....
  14. Nice fish. What kind of set up is that? Thats a Summit reel, but what kind of rod? A All Star of some kind?
  15. The Carrot is a great handling rod. Light and sensitive. Those that hate it, never owned it.
  16. Anyone bass fishing in and or around the outer banks? The real question is when, where and how? Last year I fished one pond with Senko's and Horny Toads and killed them. But fishing one small pond gets boring fast. Any advise will be appreciated.
  17. All right guys, borrow a jon boat or something. I'm pretty sure Trevor is in with me. Unless he goes and gets his boat. Dan, get yours ready. I'll just have "feel the burn" tow you around........Or maybe I could, I just need to put you in one spot.
  18. Let us not leave out the 100% tungsten popper, probably the most incredible topwater action you will "never" see.
  19. I have the KB Rattle Shads and love 'em.
  20. G, I hate to tell you. But watch who is in the money every tourny......The ones with the fast boats. I'll have a great and I mean great pre-fish and show up to that spot and there is some one with a faster boat already there. Now don't just cut them off...... That can get real tricky! I would hate to be an outcast with that crew, they can be tough. Run and gun is the ticket. When somebody gets near me I'll stop fishing, move or pick up something else like a c-rigged buzzbait to keep them guessing
  21. Been fishing the Quan since the late 80's. I have been fishing it alot over the last 4 years or so, though not this year. I fish it for fun, tourny's and pre-fished tourny's for myself and for other anglers that could not make it out to do so. But with tendonitise and while almost getting killed in a not so famous boating accident (made me a little gun shy) while pre-fishing a tounry late last fall. I feel I know the place well and have put together winning sacks, just not on the day of the tourny. JEJMoe, if you made it to Bull Run Marina you missed a left turn at the splits.
  22. Hey, there is the tension that I speak of!!! Loosen up fellas.
  23. All the tourny's I fished where in the late summer/early spring.
