BPS Pro Qualifier rods
Is yours the new style (no fore grip and a hook keeper)? I bought the new 7ft MH and use it for light pitching and t-rigged soft plastics. I'm a bit more of a line watcher. Last week I stuck a good sized fish in a lay down and loved the way it handled the fish. Plenty of back bone. It's spooled with 15lbs Yozuri Hybrid and a Johnny Morris reel. To me it seems light and swift in the hand. Now I'm not saying it's like my Kistler LTA's, but still a great rod for the money.

muddy.?
I have butted heads more than once on the forum and have had stern "talkin to's" and still am able to dust myself off and get on with it. It's about your own character and how you handle it. If you work it out or bail out............I'm way to strong willed to walk away. With that said, Muddy. Turn around and come back! We'll get you dusted off.

So it wasn't a bass, but it was a great fight.
SWEET MOTHER OF PEARL!!!! Do not get in the water! Thats a biggun' ! Where was this?

Looking for maker of floating worms made in VA.
I know they sell the soft plastics at GT, but I did not know about the jigs. Armesjr, have you tried the jigs? Give them a shot. I used to build them before R&R bought them out. Same jig though!

For the gear heads
Moroso makes tie ins to keep the frame from twisting. If you work and set the front end up correctly both wheels should come up relatively even. I ran a 67 Nova in IHRA and NHRA for many years and set seven NHRA and IHRA records. Never had a handling problen and this car was quicker than 10.60. The 63-67 have the same frame under them. The frame is tied/welded. Has a 8pt cage. Fully adjustable traction bars. Drag shocks and springs. It "only" runs 10:60's becauseof it's ill tempered handling. We had to retard the cam timing 4 degrees and a timed throttle stop just to calm it down to do that. Once it sets the tire back on the ground, it spins.

I have the # for R&R (804)706-9540. They are in Chesterfield Va. Hope it helps, they make a great bait. Do your self A favor and ask about the Jigs. I used to work for Gerkin Jigs. The baddest of the bad when it comes to jigs.

Tica Tactica Baitcasting reel
I have had my eye on the Tica Sculptor for awhile. Held one at a expo and had already blown all my cash, would have bought it if I had the money.

NOVA Report for Saturday
Also be very careful about what you leave in your car/truck when fishing there. A guy on another forum whatched as (I'm not going to name a race) broke the window of his truck and stole his stereo and other items. :-/ I to have had issues with these people when they blocked our truck and refused to move.......This is only a problem when the weather is warm/hot. they barbecue and swim/bathe. Last summer there was at least 30-40 of them. Fishing was great!

CARROT STIX HAVE ARRIVED!!!
For the love of Pete! Fish it for awhile and then run the mouth. The nay sayers don't own one. I own(ed) Kistler, Grandt, All Star, Shimano, BPS, E21. I did not judge until I fished them. If your stuck on one brand, your trippin'!

New PB!
Andrew, next time I see you I'm shoplifting that crankbait out of your tackle bag. Better stay sharp. That is a great looking crappie. I have never come close to one that size, but I have never owned a Megabass Griffin. My daughter at the age of 5 caught one that was "large" on a Micky Mouse rod.

Nice one today.
You have peaked my interest on the location...........and it's eating me alive!!!

Nice one today.
Yes, there are Smallies in there. I caught a 3 pounder when I was with Drums last spring. Good job being tight lipped. Oh, and nice fish!

Mercer Sat April 19th
Mercer is going to turn into the next Burke Lake, 2 years ago It seemed like no one talked about it. Yes I fish Mercer every 4-6 weeks. Not every 4-6 days. There are plenty of ponds, lakes and rivers. Woodglen, Barton, Royal, Huntsman, Occaquan Res, Beaver dam res, Hunting Run, Lunga, the Bull Run, upper and lower Potomac rivers and all the no-named ponds that are right under everyones noses. I fish at least 4 times a week, if not 5 or 6 and never seem to hit the same place back to back. If you need a fresh spot to fish, I can point you in the right direction. Just PM me and I'll do my best based on where you have and have not fished.

For the gear heads
I'm not in to billet covered trailer queens or TV cars. The 55 driven by Harrison Ford in American Graffiti should be at the top of the list along with the Mustang from the movie Bullet. I tend to lean towards cars that are built buy guys like you and I. I run a 1963 Chevy2 that a buddy and I partnered on. It's in Primer and is a piece of junk. But for a home built street car with a 10 inch tire, she'll do the quarter in 10.60's on the motor. If I was to spray it...........it would take a little side cash to find out(if you know what I mean ). It was intended to do a little street racing, but handling problems kept me from that. Leaving the line with the left front tire 18 inches in the air and the right firmly planted on the ground, makes for a hand full on the street. Leaving the line on the bottle is a BIG no no!
