The wind might be too high. The one in LaSalle they shut down at 15mph I think. I know some people that go to powerton but all they do is catfish.

Last weekend in March they stock trout at my local pond, that's when it starts for me.

I bought two from there on thursday and they got here today.

This. But jokes aside I have split on my bass rods and full on my panfish/trout rods. It's all personal preference IMO.

Humps, rip rap, sunken trees, stump fields, basically everything you can see honestly.

Good question I've wondered that myself. TW shipped one to me in a tube that you could have dropped off a cliff, BPS however sent me one that looked like it was drug behind the truck to my house. I had to return it to the store which took away the whole point I ordered in since the store is an hour away
