New To Jigs
Here is a guestimate. Mold $30-50 each Lead pot $50-100 Lead $2/pound Hooks $.50-.75 each unless you purchase 1000 at a time Skirts $.50 each unless you purchase 100 at a time Paint $ 3.50 per ounce unless you buy in bulk Decide how much of what you want and do the math. I'm guessing it would be over $300 for a good setup without a fluid bed.

60 Hp 4 Stroke Or 75 Hp 2 Stroke?
In the long run it won't make a lot of difference on the motors as long as you get the Optimax or 4 stroke. If you pull down on the throttle the Opti will get good mpg. Just don't let them fix you up with one of those Force motors. They are owned by Merc but once were Chryslers and are not really the same as Mercs.

Anyone Been To Pomme De Terre Lately?
I haven't been there since April but it looks like I will be Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm planning on going out of Lightfoot and just wondering how deep the bass have been lately and whether or not there is an early spinnerbait or buzzbait bite.

Question About Buying Skirt Material's...
If you choose some good colors and buy them by the 100 ct they are way cheaper most of the time. You have to choose then think before you order or you'll wind up like me with 1400 coming. I did that a couple of years ago and have some that I'll never get around to using.

I rarely get fish that are suspended to hit baits. When they are near the bottom in cover or structure is the most likely time to get them to hit. You might count down a swim jig and bring it through them or if they would hold then a drop shot might work but that is pretty shallow to get them to hold under the boat.

They were moving is why there aren't arches. The water is shallow enough that the boat caused them to move away from it.

How Would I Put This Together To Mold
I use nonstick pans from Wally world. I glue down the baits, spray with cooking oil, mix Bondo, pour, go away for 24 hours.

Need Guide Recommendation For Table Rock
If I were looking for a guide, I'd be contacting Buster Loving.

Pouring Jigs
If it were me, I'd contact Mike or Ted and see about buying 100 jig heads. Then I'd order some skirts from fishing skirts *. Put them together and see how it goes.

Buying A Demo?
Demo..... Pro staffer just what are you talking about???? There is a world of difference?? Demos we had at the dealership used by sales people who worked 60 hours per week and had little time on the water? Pro staffers were sort of owned by guys who fished the life out of them and got new ones every year.

Jeep Wrangle And Bass Boat
X2 My wife pulls my 20' Champion with a Jeep Liberty when we go camping. She has no problems but my boat trailer has brakes that I keep in top shape all of the time.

Best Tying Vise
I use an Orvis.

Difference In Side Imaging And Down Imaging
Down imaging is what I use for fishing to see brush, stumps, etc and see fish in it. Side imaging is more for finding stuff like ledges and brush piles fish only show up as small dots most of the time.

Need Some Advice For Bull Shoals
Horseshoe Bend. Fish the whole area with jigs or worms especially the points and around the docks. The bluff on the right before you to the coves is a good place for evening parallel cranking. If you get up as far as Tucker Hollow the left bank of the marina cove and [the left bank of Bear Creek especially at the crack of dawn with spinnerbaits] are good. Good luck bud.

What part of BS will you be launching in? It is a pretty big pond.

Lead Melting And Moisture
If it is relatively dried out, you should be able to plug it in and heat it up. The moisture should evaoprate. Next time don't loan stuff to that guy.

Question About Fish Finder
Not necessarily. It just means that it is what is currently in the cone. Like Wayne stated the cone angle on a 200 kHz unit is normally 20° which gives you a diameter at the bottom of roughly 1/3 of the depth. You also have the cone from the ducer to the bottom and stuff shows up in it not just on the bottom. Where it shows is how far from the ducer it is not where it is. We would all like to thing of it like a camera pic but it isn't.

Braid With Baitcaster Question
Just be sure to put some backing on the reel to keep the braid from slipping. You also don't need a full spool of braid just more than you can cast.

Spinner Baits Weedless ?
Around here the spinnerbait is best in low light so I fish it early in the morning and late in the evening or at night. I can't buy a fish when the sun is high on a spinnerbait.

Jigs With Trailers
Your startup could be several hundred dollars so like suggested I recommend that you buy some jigs and what ever trailer you choose and see it you like fishing them before you take a plunge to make them. Cadman and Gman on this site make and sell jigs.

Steering Cable Probs - Replace Or Clean?
The cable can be lubed by a tech at a shop or you can build your own cable luber. If you go to American Anglers web site and do a search there is a full explanation of how to build it with pics.

Bait Casting Reel Pops Off Rod While Fishing!
I have a gloomis rod that will only hold a curado 200 if the reel is shimmed with electrical tape.

Question About Fish Finder
When a fish shows up say 20' on the screen it can be 20' in any direction as long as it is in the strong cone angle. Just because it looks like it is below you doesn't necessarily mean that is so. It may be suspended in any direction. You would be way better off locating cover or structure and fishing that instead of trying to catch something that shows up as a random arch.

Trying Something New With The Time Off For The 4Th. Advice?
That will be during the full moon. Single spins and swim jigs are what I use mostly during the summer in the moon. Don't be afraid to use a white jig or spinnerbait with white trailer.
