What 5 setups for Table Rock in late April
Lots of times the early spawning females move out to trees off spawning banks. I've caught some beauties on spooks around cedar tops in 40-50 fow where they suspend and lol away the day. Now if our current weather holds on much longer the spook might not be an option this spring, but I'd still have to try one myself. That would be like fishing in March without a jerk bait.

Do You Sleep Well The Night Before A "T"?
I don't sleep well before any fishing tournament or not. I once fished 34 days straight while on an extended vacation. I thought I was gonna die before I got home and had a good night's sleep.

Taking on water-- but from where?
Take out what ever you have to in order to be able to get a good look at your hoses and pumps. But before you do that check the fittings where the hoses go out of the boat. It could be a silicone failure and water coming in around the hose fitting at the transom or side.

How does this mold work?
G you better add some heat stabilizer in your order.

Best RPM for mileage?
Champion 206 Opti 225@ 4000 rps gives me the best gallon per hour according to my smart craft gauge.

How does this mold work?
Is it a one piece, 2 piece, pour, or injection?

boat speed
I used to run a 16' semi V with a 9.9. I'm thinking no trolling motor I have ever seen would push as fast as the 9.9 did.

Which IMX for worm/jig?
I have the IMX MBR in 844C and 843C. I use the 843C for jigs up to 1/8 to 3/8 oz and 844C for 1/2 to 1 oz. The 844C is way too stiff for my liking on anything under 1/2.

Need some opinions
G if possible get the rods in your hand and decide. I had a 7' MH for one of my plastic applications. It was like a pool cue. I finally found a guy in San Fransisco who had the next down 6.5" M and we did a trade. I love the one I now have.

Need some opinions
G, Matt is correct with his rod statement. I have 2 name brand spinning rods both of which are MF 6.5' and they aren't even close to being the same. So the brand can make a big difference.

polishing blades
Nope, I use ketchup and rub the blades.

Jigs: Round 2
The hook that I use in them doesn't bend before my 15# line breaks.
-
Jigs: Round 2
I think it looks good. I use a lot of Pro Tech clear and silver hollow flake or just plain old hard as nails polish.

Jigs: Round 2
Those are good looking jigs. The unpainted head unless you sealed it with a clear coat may tarnish and turn a dull gray in a short time.

Tracker PT 175 TXW vs Lowe ST170
Tracker boats are made by Tracker Marine group which is owned by John L. Morris of Bass Pro Shops.
-
who makes cabela's & bass pro crankbaits
Since I have never heard of either one owning and operating mfgs for baits, my guess is the lowest bidder like the BPS rods and reels.

Lowrance and Linda Colt
Last I heard was they made her an offer and she declined. She asked for a severance package instead of returning to them.

Tracker PT 175 TXW vs Lowe ST170
I don't know who owns Lowe now but in the past they have been better than Trackers. I have owned both and might consider a second Lowe sometime if I move back to aluminum but Tracker would be way down on my list.

Net Recommendations
I use the rubber net with a handle that slides in so it doesn't take up much room in the boat. I always make sure the other person knows how to pull the handle back and snap it into position, just in case.

what determines if a body of water is "clear" water
When I can toss a dime in Bull Shoals in 20 fow and see if it land heads or tails up the water is clear. ;D

EAGLE ® FishElite 642C iGPS Fishfinder/GPS Chartplotter
I'm thinking it should. But be sure you are saving them to the card. When you mark them you are putting them into the memory of the head unit. You will have to save them to the card then load them to the other unit.

soft plastics
I make jigs, plastics, spinnerbaits, spoons, etc. I only do it for myself and a few friends. Brush hogs and slider grubs are the only plastics that I don't make myself but plan to make molds one of these days when my supplies get low.

Battery maintenance
You can take it to an auto parts store and get it load tested. You can also check the specific gravity of the cells with a hydrometer. They should be 12.7 volts when fully charged. If either of those things show bad then trade it in for the core charge because it won't be worth keeping.
