Using beat up Rattle Traps
they do seem to get better with time seems to me, the more beat up they are the more fish they catch, the beat up ones catch better than the new ones

fishing the day after a good rain?
I have my best luck after a rain with a 1/2 ounce blue/black Strike King jig, pitching around stumps and laydowns.

Adding salt taste to plastics.
salt is made into those lures, putting salt on the outside will not work, as already mentioned it will dissolve when it goes into the water

That is a pretty crazy looking lure. Not something I would probably ever use.

New to spinnerbaits - need help
You can got to experiment with them and see what the fish wants as far as the retrieve goes, as mentioned earlier Id stay away from the cheapos, I use Strike King and Booyah. I also use some custom made ones that one of my sponsors build. Stay away from the $1 box at Wal-Mart

What Lipless Crankbait do YOU like most?
The Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap, preferrably 1/2 ounce in either blue/chrome or black/chrome.

TV fishing - BASS vs. FLW
I dont think either one of them does a very good job with their tv coverage, but Id have to go with BASS.

partner or Net Boy? What do you end up being?
I dont care too much for being in the back of the boat during a tournament aka "net boy". I seem to always have a bad tournament day when fishing out the back of the boat. Biggest conflict for me is I never get matched with someone who fishes my style, seems like either I get stuck with someone power fishing at a time we should be finessing or sometimes the other way around. I dunno, never works out for me.

FAll Fishing
Im in south mississippi and itll still be quite a while before it cools down enough but during the months of dec, jan, feb, it will be time to slow down. My best cold water bait is a spinnerbait. Slow rolling a 1/2 ounce white spinnerbait, the way to go for me usually.

Got a Sponser
Got 4 Sponsors , they are all product sponsors. Had a fifth that I really wasnt too impressed with their product so I recently dropped them. Havent got lucky enough to land a cash sponsor yet, still working on that one.

Bass Club Basics
The club Im in just became part of the B.A.S.S. Federation. The main thing most people in our club was interested in was the insurance that BASS provides. They pay up a million dollars, they cover anything your regular boat insurance does not up to a million dollars. Just one of the positive things that BASS does. Plus they do alot for conservation and cast for kids. But no you dont have to have them to have a club but they're are alot of good things to be considered when deciding to join or not.

Buzz Baits
Stike King's 3 Blade in the 1/2 ounce size has been my most productive buzzbait.

2 stroke or 4 stroke??
Pro and cons, they both have them. 4 stroke engine is more fuel efficient and the overall wear on that engine will be less, you'll wear a 2 stroke out alot faster than a 4 stroke. I dont know the whole logic behind that just know it from experience and from other people I know thats had both. 2 stroke is gonna get there alot quicker, much faster than the 4 stroke.

morning bait
