  1. Ive got a variety of sticks. SK Shimy Sticks, Dingers, SK Ocho, zman bang stickz and Zinkerz, Gambler Ace??, Berkley general and flute worms. I think thats it. No actual Senkos. So of course the Zman ones float, the others I don't know how fast they sink except the Ocho. They sink pretty fast.
  2. I have 1/8 and 1/32 oz weighted wacky hooks. Do you all have a specific depth for when you go weighted vs weightless? I got them because I know they have the most action on the fall and the more weight the more movement and.... I'm impatient and dont want to wait for a weightless stick bait to sink. Also I use Elaztech stick baits which I figured needed weight or they would just float on the surface. So when to go weightless and when to use a weighted?
  3. Ive looked at those for crappie and have caught bass on a road runner with a Bobby garland baby shad. Ive never fished a hair or maribou jig of any sort. They look great. What retrieve do you use?
  4. I just got a few new underspins and small swimbaits I'm going to try this with.
  5. On the location in the water column variable. Try swimming a craw and jigging a swimbait and see if it's the lure or the location.
  6. I saw those today online and I really like the black/blue flake green pumpkin one. I will probably pick up a bag.
  7. BPS sells all sorts of Pro Cure but after reading the one guys review I'm hesitant. But its extremely local as in a mile away. I wish they had other brands of gel though.
  8. I keep my JJs at home!! Haha. Ive got Bang spray that ive sprayed in a bag of gulp minnows that were getting dry but not tried a whole bag of something else. Will bang eat Elaztech if left on? I'm just getting tired of re spraying every few casts and I can only find pro cure local so if i have to order it, the sky is the limit and I want to know my options.
  9. Is that a bobber stop just above your knot? That to protect the knot? I have very similar hooks by SK. Belly weighted underspin and its great around heavy vegetation and wood. I plan on buying a few open hook underspins for clearer water and to increase hookup ratio. But these are nice when you want weedless.
  10. I forgot about the Easy Shiner. I always think of the ribbed ones. How are they compared to the ribbed ones? They look nice.
  11. Ive been looking at these. Ive never actually used a Keitech and dont really care to. I sometimes get too hung up on scented lures and the Zman arent but ive caught more on a TRD than any other ned bait. I'll check them out.
  12. What's everyone's go to for underspins or swimbait jig heads? I love the GYCB Zako for the segmented shad style and Berkley Power swimmers for paddletails. But like everything else there is so much to choose from and personal preference comes into play. I know Keitechs are great but tear easy, then there are a metric ton of ribbed swimbaits like them. Curious to see what everyone likes.
  13. Thanks for your input. You're about the only contributing person on this thread so far. I'm looking for all the advantage I can get in fishing.
  14. So far it seems just as good just personal preference.
  15. I have a few different ones I need to try. Swimmin Dinger and Cutr worm for sure.
  16. On the contrary, you did in fact reply without said photo. Just not what lure it is.
  17. I know, I know. Megastrike is the deal. But from some reading it sounds like Liquid Mayhem is formulated very similar in that it had amino acids and enzymes. The real question is has anyone used it and notice any difference over Megastrike? Amazon has liquid mayhem and I'm really trying not to use tackle warehouse because I'll want to hit that $50 free shipping mark, and I dont need anything else
  18. But Do they work???
  19. 1/4 oz. Ive thought about throwing them on a baitcaster but have a MH spinning rod free so figured what the hey
  20. I plan on dedicating a spinning setup to these this year!
  21. Decided to match up some trailers to some small jigs I had and broke out the Spike It markers. The "bleeding" green pumpkin was a no brainer to me. Baby rage menace with the bottom flipper red. The other I decided on an Okeechobee Craw baby rage craw with just the flanges of the class colored chartreuse. Terrible angle for pics but hopefully you all get the jist. I think I like modifying and matching trailers more than I actually like fishing jigs. This makes five I have now and only fished one and it wad for about 20 minutes with no bites. Atleast I can enjoy them one way or another.
  22. That's my TRD Crawz jigs. They have no action so that's why ive been asking what everyone else uses. They look really good and the class float and thats cool. But I want a little flutter out of a trailer sometimes.
  23. I have a few small jigs with TRD Crawz on them that I need to change out. They got hot and now are all deformed and weird looking. I need to see if they still float up I guess, because as long as they do it should be ok?
  24. Ive got the Cutr worm for swing heads and t rigs. I havent used them yet but i will next outing. I like the ned cutr too. Great extra bit of action on the fall then sways like a trd.
  25. Fish B Gone wipes mixed with dude wipes. That's the cure! Also for the people from Louisiana they come in swamp nuts scent! But no ive not heard of the fish attracting version. Interesting idea on a t rig.
