Everything starts when I couldn't fit my Dobyns 908 SB rod in my truck. So I decide to sell it and buy shorter rod. I sold it $220 to a college student($260 was listing price). And bought Veritas Toro beast SB rod, Why? Because my reel is toro beat as well. When the rod arrived Except the heavy weight I love everything about it, But it was WHITE, And you cant get whiter than that. Here all crazy stuff starts, From looking for reel custom painters to look for new Toro S which is white and will be match with rod. Finally I bought the reel and I am going to get it in mail by today. And now I still had the Gray Toro Beats that was match with my Dobyns Champion 908, So what the hell I purchase a Dbyns 807 last night to match with the Gray Toro Beats. YES I f*** up, And add another swimbait combo to my arsenal just because I couldn't fit that 908 in my truck ?. Thats the whole story and I wanted to share with you.

What kind of glide you using will dictate the how. First of all you need a search glide and see if you have followers and also you have glides you fish them like jerk bait. And you have the glides that you retrieve slow and twice at the points that you found with search glide. So thats a long story, Please be spisific about your gear and glide/glides your going to fish and body of water so others will able to help you better.

This one for large glides 6oz to 16oz, So I gave lots of Dips 250 and baitsanity and other 10inch plus glides and swimbait that I have. Some days I feel I just want to throe large glides for stripers and bass.

Ok so being silly about my combos and want them to match together, I was looking for someone to paint my Revo Toro beast reel to white to pair it with the Veritas Toro swimbait rod, I even look for a white rod cover, Long story short I couldn't find anyone to paint my reel as I wish. so I start and look for Revo Toro Beast 61 S which is white and finally I found it. I am waiting for it in mail.

I was thinking to rig it for that for my next night fishing ?

Guys I know you might have catch shads way more bigger than this, But it is the biggest shad I seen ever. Catch that on Norman Finesse Crank bait. I keep that to use as catfish bait.

In your Situation Ill do what I did, Which is keep what I like for every weight and lure ( 1 spinning/1 frog/3 for M/MH and H). This 5 will do the all you need, So you can keep reels that you like the most and fits your setups and sell the rest. In my Idea you have double of what you really need and use depending on what you saying about your fishing style. Even I am not a weekender and I fish 2 to 3 Tims Monday to Friday, I have that 5 combo I told you for my regular bass fishing.

Ok I have the rod here, First of all I am not happy with the website I purchased from and I will not ever buy from them again. Long story for another time and place. Thankfully the rod arrived in perfect shape and have no problem. I just want to share a sight of it with you and tell you that, It is heavyyyyy, Yes it feel so heavy(11.1oz).

I had mindset to dont go more than 7' from bank, Buy when 7'6" happened, I felt I have extra casting power, And when I use 8' XH broom stick I have so much better casting power. So if you dont have transportation problem or overhead trees, I would get it.

I want to get to depth by my baits, also I need the sensitivity of fluorocarbon. Otherwise Ill just use straight braid.
