  3. Welcome to Bassresource.
  4. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-LNESUNLINE.html?from=basres Please read about it. It is best of both worlds. I only use this for last 8 years.
  5. depends on your hook size and diameter of your hook, If thin wire you can do it, But remember the fish can straighten the hook if fight and you'll loose fish.
  6. Guys I want to buy life jacket and there is different standards, Type 1, 2, 3, Or full jacket or the lighter and smaller ones. I want to buy the one right for every lake, Would you please to help? Some said in Lake Isabella you need to have the full cover one, Is it true? How about Castaic and casitas? https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=30&prevsearch=life+jacket&searchtext=life+jacket Or https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-ONYX.html?from=basres
  7. I am using Lucky Cratft as well. Just they are always sold out and you need to pre purchase some colors from TW.
  8. The are mastered the carp fishing out there, and next is catfish and next is perch.
  9. I had great success with this tube, And I dont know where to buy it anymore.
  10. This happened so many times with me, when I start to reel fast to cast again, I had bass attack my lure, It usually happened with swimbaits, Once I saw that I would cast and retrieve in same speed of I got that reaction and I was lucky most of the times. But if I am sight fishing or have specific cover, Ill cast behind that and do my twitches on that place and then when I passed that point, I would give up and cast again.
  11. Once you are looking for right size O ring, Let me tell you what I am using. Electric tape, just one wrap around it and put the hook trough, It is very nice and holding very well and dont matter the size or need any extra tools.
  12. Yes guys, I am talking beginners, Also I said myself if it fits your lake and fishing style, They are the best. But for someone that visit every lake and every condition, I dont suggest that. Guys I was against 4' what with 17" deep V and I made it and give a boat back to its owner with no sct=ratch by the end of the day. But it took me more than hour for my 18 miles run to the dock. So she I said beginners, I really meant it. Ive see people like @A-Jay and @WRB or other pros that killin it with aluminum boats, But look, They are Pros and they have seen a lot. I wish one day I can learn and have exprience like them, But till then I would and suggest for Beginners to get a fiberglass boat if they think they going to face big water in big lakes.
  13. Guys I decide to start this topic because it was my question since day first when I think about getting a boat. Ive ride Both Fiberglass and aluminum, Bass and multi fish boats. First let me tell you who wins, The Fiberglass is the winner. I know the aluminum boats are cheaper in Gas(for the boat and vehicle you towing it with) and they cheaper in price, If you planing to fish once a month in small lake/pond and you can pick a date with no wind at all then you are welcome to buy aluminum boat, Otherwise I strongly suggest to get a fiberglass boat. You want best tool for the job.Boat you want to enjoy fishing ON WATER not on the road, I dont care what Aluminum boat you are talking about< I personally love the Xpress boats they are the best aluminum boat yet, But still I would go with fiberglass because I want to be safe on the water and enjoy the fishing and I dont mind pay for that. We talking about days and days on water that this decision can change your exprince from a crap to best fishing day of your life. Guys sorry for the spelling and grammar, I am still shaking from my Deep V aluminum boat ride yesterday ???
  14. For 8" plus Glides, I would go with : https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Eye_Surrender_Pocketed_Bait_Wraps/descpage-ESPW.html they are very easy to use and carry around, Even you can just pick the small size and have four to eight glides in it and hit the water. It is not Anti Rust, But did you notice the Napkin in lower section? Easy fix. You dont want to put this glides in any Boxes, I dont care what it is, you need to have air flow to get them dry after use. If you actually use them(Like I do), You'll notice even after you think they are fully dry, They are not and they will leak up to next day
  15. Thank you for great info? Are this come in one size fit? I am size 11 and my wading shoes are size 12, What size I need to get the fins?
  16. I got it for lagoon and Santa Ana river lakes and lake Isabella, I just hope I can find a good fish finder to fit this. what good fins you suggesting?
  17. I just order fat cat float tube, I was researching a lot about it because I was on market for a boat and finally I came to decision that I still cant have boat because of money(I want to buy brand new boat in cash) and also storage(I dont have a garage), Anyways I research and ask some experts and he swears by it. In my research I understood they have two models, Super Fat Cat VS Fat Cat which super fat cat have inflatable seats over foam seat for fat cat. I just want to share because it takes me long time to find out the difference The reviews on inflatable seats are not good, Since they air inside will make it harder or loose because of temp change and if you want to fix that you need to back to shore and get out and add air or loose air and go back to water which is so much hassle and also leaks you going to have often on the corner of your seats which in normal foam seats you don't have this issues. I am waiting for my float tube to be deliver and ill update you guys when I get it. I need help on finding a good fish finder for it as well.
  18. all that happened because of this combo and lure. Can you guess what was my tube?
  19. Finally after so many months, I could break the spell and catch some bass, I got 6 of them but releasesd the smallest. Big five weights about 14.5lb, Not giants but not dinks as well, The largest little shy of 4lb and smallest 2.5lb. Anyways guys I just want to share that, Later ill send you picture of combo and bait as well. It was very hot day 90 freaking degree out there.
  20. mostly because I have to cast from bank to the wind and I want to be accurate. I can get that better with DC.
  21. Metanium DC If choose from your list, But if you really after high end, I recommend only Antares DC 21, Thats the best reel in all of my reels.
