  6. First welcome aboard John. Your in prime time in Tn. right. I just returned from Dale hollow and the LM were turned on in shallow water. And as @Bird said you can’t go wrong with soft plastics to start. Good luck ?
  7. I’m with ya. I can’t stand a dirty boat. I use 303 on mine to clean an always waxed protected. Too much of a investment to ignore. As for trucks I know it’s hard to keep clean but I love my black truck.

Blinds can definitely save a hunt. I’m a big run & gun guy. I’ve been caught out in it a long way from the truck and thought about the blind sitting at home.?
  9. Two years ago I ordered a Christmas present from BP shops. The wife and I pulled up to the house and there’s 4 large boxes sitting by the front porch. The wife starting laughing and ask what in the heck did I order. The boxes where from BPS. There was a total of 6 pairs of Lacrosse boots, 10 ammo boxes, 3 guide series jackets, a woman’s waterproof jacket and the camo youth jacket. I called BPS and told them the problem and basically got nowhere. I called several more times over the next couple of days and again got nowhere except being put on hold for 30 - 40 minutes. Finally my 4th call I stated that I’m tired of the runaround and if I don’t get any answers this time I’ll just keep the stuff. There customer rep said that sounds like the best thing to do. We’ll I keep the youth jacket and took the rest to the church to give to needy families except the ammo boxes which they didn’t want.

Good job. ??☝️ Our opening day is this Saturday.
  11. Welcome aboard. Relax and enjoy your journey with your son. The memories you’ll build for both of you will be more rewarding than any fish you may catch. Keep it fun and enjoy.

    Welcome back..
  13. Great job and sticking with it.. ????
  14. Tackle storage and have the dealer upgrade to a good set of batteries and on board charger. For batteries I would go with agm’s or Lithium depending on your budget. Good luck on your build.
  15. Doesn’t get any better than that…. Can turn a bad into a good one without even trying..
  16. 154 lbs of lap dog Gotta love ‘em….

    Welcome aboard John. Nice catch.
  19. I don’t kayak but even on my 21’ bass boat I’m never on it without a pfd on. @A-Jay gave me advice a while back on this subject. My Mustang 100mph pfd on when the big motor is running and my Mustang inflatable on while fishing. We’ve all seen things either in person or on videos how fast things can go south and you won’t have anytime to be trying to get a pfd on. This can be especially a concern on a kayak with power boats in the area.
  20. As stated above “DO NOT” run them in series. When switching to Lithium you need to do your homework and ask questions. I run Ionic lithium LiFePo4 they can be run in series and they will give you a list of chargers that are compatible. You can also buy a 24v battery but remember you’ll need a 24v charger.
  21. Welcome aboard Mongo..
  22. Welcome aboard Skinny…
