Little late seeing this. Katie a close friend of mine in Florida had a 15’ with a 25hp merc. When I lived there we would take that guided missile out fishing and it was unbelievably fast. I tried driving it but it would look like a drunken sailor was driving. It was a great fishing platform but would sure raise the hair on your neck.

Day trip 1hr 45 min. Drive down to the Juniata river to wade. For good chance at big girls 11 hrs to Dale Hollow twice a year. And 4 hrs to the St. Lawrence once or twice a year.

Like everything else in life, trial and error and then like @A-Jay if you find the right one stick with it.

I have one electric only lake i fish and when i go there which is not very often i bring a set of waders with me. It’s a joy with a 21’ bass boat. But with the waders i stay dry when its cold.

Honest mistake. Had the scale set on ounces instead of pounds
