  1. Mustang HIT. Remember there’s more people affected than just the drowning victims. Bravado doesn’t help your love ones you leave behind.
  2. Depends on where I’m fishing up north 4-5lbs. 20” i consider a big fish. Florida,Texas 7-8 lb. 24” big fish.

  11. First thing is welcome aboard.. You’re starting out with baits that are reliable fish catchers. As @12poundbass stated there are tons of info you can look up and videos on here. Let us know what part of the country you’re in and that can get you local info.
  12. They can cause a lot of damage. I was headed to NY. To go turkey hunting when a turkey flew right in front of me and clipped the top of the grille then flipped over the truck. I looked in my rear view mirror and it slammed right into a State trooper and smashed his windshield. The trooper turned on his lights and pulled me over. He then asked for my license and informed me I was getting a ticket. Shocked I asked what for. He responded to me for flipping him the bird. Got ya. 😁
  13. Also after securing the strap drive a few feet and hit your brakes hard. If the trailer strap is loosen then tighten. If not refer to @Jig Man recommendation.
  14. It’s funny you said that. The first time I fished there, I heard what I thought was someone that couldn’t get their small outboard started. So I fired up and went over to the sound to see if they needed help. To my surprise it was a big ole male gator growling and doing his vibrations.
  15. What a tragedy for her and the family. I can’t imagine what the husband is going through witnessing it.
  16. You sure pick a beautiful place to fish. I miss fishing the Ocklawaha. It’s been years. Used to put in at Nelson’s fish camp. I always felt like it was going back in time. You guys really tore them up. 👍👍

Welcome aboard…it’s been many years since I’ve fished there.
  24. @HawkeyeSmallie when you get a boat take it to a big parking lot early in the morning and put out a couple of traffic cones between 8-10’ apart. Practice backing in between them and you’ll get the drift of backing a trailer. Then when your comfortable go to a ramp that’s not crowed and practice. You’ll be fine. 👍
  25. 1. Determine your budget. 2. TM with spot lock and the proper power for your boat. 3. Electronics compatible with the TM you’ve choose 4. Batteries for your TM & battery for starting motor with enough AH for your electronics and accessories. Good luck on your search and make it enjoyable. 👍
