Handgun for my wife
My wife just bought a Shield EZ yesterday. She loves how easy it is. I guess the Kimber is going back in the safe.

Grew up hunting and fishing. Just being on the water or in the woods and family is all I need to be happy.

spot lock problems/ minn Kota issues
Two things I can think of. Is there a good gps signal where your fishing and make sure your cables aren’t wrapped tonight when you turn. Either one of these will kick the spot lock off. To tight not tonight

Tracker Marine Lithium Battery
Whichever brand you pick you won’t regret it. Since I switched out to ionic lithium it’s incredible the the time you get out of them. I run a 36V Ultrex and can run it 10 hours with a lot being on spot lock and at the end of the day I’ll show 70% battery life. Also there 125ah for cranking, 3 birds with mega 360, live wells and 2 Poles I haven’t gone under 80%. I went with ionic because a MinnKota precision charger works with them so no need to buy another charger. Good luck on your search.

Cynical
Keep in mind Tom there were many of us who picked you to be one of the five members out of over 70,000 that we would want to fish with. That should tell you something. Keep up the great advice and please keep telling those great stories. Gary

If that ain’t the truth. I must have measured my garage 3 times and the boat even more before I bought it.

Solo launching Jon Boat with no ramp and a small drop off and sand...Would this work?
First attach the electric winch to your trailer then go to a junk yard and get a used 8’ bed liner. Attach the liner to the back of the trailer. You should be able to drive your boat right up on the the liner then attach the winch line and pull it up onto the trailer no car or boat damage. That’s a pick up truck bed liner

Back to the point. I use a Curado dc 7.4:1 TW has them for $259.- Handgun for my wife

That’s the way to do it. We do similar we turkey hunt in the morning and the trout fish in the afternoon- Could you only fish crankbaits year round forever?
No… I like them but a steady diet of nothing but. No way..- Batteries
I’m gonna shoot you a pm in a minute.- Overnight trip - How far would you go??
Same day normal 2 hrs. Overnight 4-5 hours. Worst trip last year Pa. To Lake Fork non stop 23 hrs. Down for a 2 day tournament. Rained for 18 hrs. Of the drive down. What a joy.- Overnight trip - How far would you go??
Delaware river. Boarders Pa. And N.J.- Batteries
It would depend on what trolling motors are you using? What battery are you using? And how long and far from your ramp are you planning on fishing? All these variables play into whether or not it would be feasible.- Be careful paddling!
That’s sad..
