Hello from Port Perry, Ontario, Canada

Featured Replies

Not sure if I ever posted on this particular page yet but I'm in my upper 30's, a long drink of water at about 6'8.

My dad always took me fishing at the cottage as a kid, I liked it but kinda lost touch with it in my teens until late 20's. Now I'm addicted.

When I signed up on this forum I swear I had a user name and now it appears I have a random computer generated one? Anyone know how I can fix that?

Thanks

Greg

Welcome! :)

Welcome aboard. I used to fish tournaments all over the Kawarthas when I was younger, spent many a day on “the bog” at your home town. Caught some dandy largemouth flipping jigs around all those cattails and their undercut banks.

Wicked!

I live on the water, if you remember the nonquon river? I'm just at the bend where it starts to empty into the main lakes.

Caught my PB's on the dock!

I'd love to share some local tips, sadly I have no idea what fly streamers are lol are you talking about fly fishing in a stream?

A fly streamer is like a swimjig for a flyrod, normally used on smallies and trout.

Any great local cottage rentals to recommend?
