  1. Well I will go against the grain taking into consideration what you want to do with the your potential NRX. I would recommend the 803, now granted it is a 6'8" rod but it will handle your needs with no problems. In fact I even find myself using the 802 more and more over the 803 when fishing within your needs.....This little sucker was caught on a weightless senko using the 802 with plenty of backbone to get it landed.......

  10. As much as I enjoy my Conquest collection of round reels there is nothing wrong with the GT (non JDM) versions in my opinion. Plainly put they are casting machines that lack the fine tuned options of their JDM cousins Goose stated earlier in this thread. However if you are an Enthusiast you certainly can have a lot of fun fine tuning the GT with all the options that are available on the market today just ask Hooligan about that. Out of the box the GT is one fine performer and if you are into round reels you should have at least one in your stable as it is another you will be able to hand down within your family.......

  12. I thought you were asking about the GLX Crank Bait Rods but maybe I am wrong....My post was about a GLX 783 CBR and GLX 785 CBR this also being the split grip rods as well.
  13. Not sure what weights you will be throwing but do not overlook the 783 as it will handle 3/4 oz crank baits with ease. Having both the 783 & 785 you will find them both to be very light and responsive sticks . No problems casting both of these little gems once you get accustomed to how light they are with get accuracy. Now keep in mind I am comparing them to the standard Crank Bait series from Loomis as I hope this helps you and suggest you take a hard look at the 783 first if it fits your lure weight usage.
  14. This box is made by Plano as at one time you could get both the 70 and 71 from Bass Pro, but it has been quite some time since they have carried the 71........http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-XPS-Lure-Boxes/product/10203081/
  15. Merry Christmas to you as well.....
  16. They are my go to boxes as I like the ability use either an angled or straight divider according to the lure that is being stored. You will find yourself using more 71's than 70's as they are a little deceiving as to what they will hold. I also have modified the bottom row by cutting down the divider and using Marine Goop to secure them. Here are a couple of pictures for reference......
  17. You have to love the Spiders.....
