  1. Thanks for throwing another X variable into a BR approved convoluted bass catching formula. I need that info like I need a hole in the head. Well, I guess I need to order a black magic marker..........
  2. Well, it sounds good, but does it catch fish or fisher? How different is it in comparison to a chatterbait?
  3. Ah, you'd need TWO extra spools to pull that trick!
  4. So, what would be the easiest way to reverse the braided line w/o having a tangled mess?
  5. Yes, correct. Some folks suggested that I use it the night before I go fishing, and my understanding is it's supposed to prevent a line tangling. I don't know.
  6. I've been a mono fan all these years, and I've just started using a braided line this year with a bit of skepticism, but I'm enjoying what the line has to offer: no stretch and less tangling in which I'm very happy about. Currently, I'm using Sufix 832 Hi-Vis which I enjoy quite a bit. My only beef is the constant lube job, and the line losing its color as it faded from Hi-Vis Yellow to a dull bone color. I'm not too happy about the fade as it is not too visible as it once were so I have to focus more on the line. Other than that, I'm content. I'm curious as to how often you experts change your braided lines and why.
  7. Kent, have ever been skunked? I've tried your trick in the past, but without much success. Perhaps I was counting too fast, I don't know. I'm probably the most impatient guy I know, and that might be the problem right there. LOL
  8. Doesn’t it get snagged easily? How fast/slow do you reel it in? The last time I tried that trick, I was getting a yard of grass after each cast. It was frustrating, and called it a day. What test line do you suggest?
  9. Is it just another copy of Zoom Ultravibe speed worm or what? Also, is it durable?
  10. Hard to believe but I guess anything is possible. What was the water temp like?
  11. This is it. I was asking because I already have a pack of this brand, and I'm too dang lazy/cheap to order a pack of UV speed worm
  12. Have you tried Missile Quiver baits? If so, are they similar to speed worm or different?
  13. Ok, this is new one on me. You don't drag it, but swim it a la swimbait(Keitech)? Tex rigged, I presume?
  14. Uh, please be more specific. Color, size, and where can I buy one? Siebert, perhaps? They always have the cool stuff. Sounds good! W/Tungsten shakey head or weightless perhaps? About 5-10 ft deep, and the lilly pads/grass are few inches above the water. Does that change anything?
  15. Which bait(s) would you throw into a grass lake in late fall? Someone suggested a lipless crankbait, but I'm not so sure about that. I'm thinking maybe a jr sized frog, a jig perhaps, and maybe a small spoon w/trailer. After that, I'm lost. What say you?
  16. I'm looking for a Jr sized - water proof - frog as I just realized that my current frog(Spro which is great!) might be a tad too big for the fall season. What do you experts recommend?
  17. Perhaps y'all heard this before, but here goes again. With tungsten, can you feel the bottom better or is that just an urban legend? I'm in the market for some swing football head jigs, and I'm not sure if I can tell the difference between the two. Soooooooooo, What's your take on this?
  18. I guess I'm two years behind as I just discovered this rig. Any updates or discovery with this rig please?
  19. Good idea! Drop some brand names if you can. Super glue, Crazy glue or what else is out there?
