  1. Agree I really like both, kind of guys that I would like to sit down with them and talk about anything for hours, seeing them together is great.
  2. Texas rigged with a bullet weight usually... same way i rig my worms, but worms always worked more for me than craws
  3. I have some plastics craws and tried with them a lot with texas rig....with no success at all here in Florida... I have a feeling that bass around here prefer worms than craws
  4. If he is like me that feel extremely bad, probably would need to donate all the income
  5. I always remove the barbs on all my hooks its easier for you to remove and less damage to the fish, I also have the same mentality, if a cause any harm to a fish I start to question if what I'm doing is right and a dead fish can ruin my day, I try to avoid that getting sensible lines like fluro , setting the hook fast (no waiting too long) etc... I completely understand and relate to your feeling
  6. What you guys do when the bass don't bite? Here in Florida we have different species living together with bass, like peacock etc and if you notice that the bass are not going to bite do you change strategy and go after another species? like you have a multi-species bait on your bag just in case? what bait you guys use? Asking that because a lot of times I go out with the objective the catch bass using baits that are bass specific like senkos etc, but sometimes I face myself with this situation and always regret to leave a multi-species bait at home
  7. I remove all the barbs of my hooks and I rarely miss a fish, i believe the idea the to be consistent on reeling the fish back, don't do pauses or give the fish a chance to mess
  8. That is the answer I wanted, decided and got the 6.3 sounds very balanced for all the applications i want
  9. I will probably use with all those baits you mentioned decided to get the 6.3.1 reel hopefully i can use with texas rigs also without any trouble
  10. On your opinion which one should i get for overall use?
  11. Just for comparison what is the IPT for 6.1 against 8.1? thank you
  12. Big questions is any problem to use the 6.1 with texas rig?
  13. Do you use with other baits too?
  14. So may different opinions lol.. im kinda lost now
  15. To much difference between a 7.1 and 8.1?
  16. Tatula is good but out of my options right now since im using a coupon to get the price down for the Fuego... im trying to squeeze as much as i can lol
  17. Its a Daiwa Fuego i know that the have the 7 option but i have coupon from a specific store and they don't have the 7 model there only those mentioned

  19. Hello everyone I'm looking currently 2 options to buy on a baitcaster 6.3.1 or 8.1.1 My idea is to use with texas rig plastic workms/creatures , lipless cranks / minnows etc and maybe some frogs (don't use too much but possible) what is the recommended Gear Ratio in this case for overall use? Is a bad idea to get a faster baitcaster? .
  20. hellgrammite 3 inches catches anything here in Florida
  21. Since my saltwater days i always remove the barbs from the hook and i never ever felt any difference regarding losing or keeping a fish hooked, Barbs only make everything difficult later if you want to save the fish... barbless hooks all the way
  22. I'm a simple man I see a nice piece of bASS I kiss
  23. I will try the BPS ones, never knew they had hellgramitte too, Nikko is expensive for the amount that comes
