  1. I'm a enthusiast photographer, and I believe the same principle applies to fishing , in photography is not the camera that makes a good photo but the photographer vision, fishing is the same is not the equipment is the knowledge of the environment and behavior or the species you want to catch
  2. Hello everybody. I don't have a boat, usually do bank fishing, but sometimes living in Florida I have a opportunity to rent a boat on a lake , I have scheduled a boat for a trip that I'm doing in November close to Orlando, it's a pontoon boat, and I want some advice for the best approach to fish on a big lake, where to start and to look for bass spots? close to the shore line? and since the pontoon probably don't have any trolling motor is a good idea to not approach the spot too close because of the noise right?
  3. I have 2 Bionic Blade rods and they are my favorite rods, love the feeling and sensitivity better than my Daiwa Fuego rod
  4. Detected a little bump around the guide (circle) but outside the guide on the tip, as long as is not on the circle (inside guide) it should be fine i believe not exactly what those small bumps are since it looks like its metal around the tip
  5. So my tallest rods im always hitting the rod tips on walls, or something else how hard is to damage a rod tip? do you think a rod tip can take some hits like that and can be used normally? i see no sign of damage there, but since is such a small piece im not sure if i should trust or not that everything is ok Im kinda ocd with mu fishing stuff ... i take care very well but hitting the tips on rods is something out of my control lol
  6. Agree if he sees my message and want to reply in private ok if no i will understand, no worries, i just want to look for new places and maybe new friends to fish around here
  7. Where exactly is the area if you don't mind to help a fishing friend that like to bank fish? i usually go to Holey land this is up north on US-27 its a canal off Us-27?
  8. Im having the same issues with a fluke im fishing weightless with a EWG hook for some reason when im retrieving the bait comes sideways even with the hook on the center of the bait not sure what im doing wrong but got no bites yet
  9. I support the idea a BassResource podcast , with interviews with people in the industry , techniques, lake reviews / reports MAKE IT HAPPEN
  10. That is exactly the content im looking for thank you
  11. your videos are amazing too is the kind of content that i look for on bass videos and with lucky on podcasts, explaining techniques how/where to use it its amazing for those who wants to learn the art of fishing the topic is about podcasts but on youtube fish the moment, bass resource are the channels that i watch a lot and learned a lot with them each of those channels has a different approach to explain techniques they kinda complete each other except Nature of Fishing its a different beast, its a study you need to watch taking notes lol
  12. agree those are 2 of my favorite youtube channels, both amazing content, i wish we have a podcast with such a quality like that, most of the podcasts i found is all championship bs talk
  13. Anybody can recommend good bass fishing podcasts? that talk about technique, equipment etc... most of the podcast i found talks about championship that i do not have too much interest
  14. This forum is really awesome and an amazing source of information for sure, and with the nicest people
  15. I'm from Florida and it's an eternal summer here, don't know if there is much difference around here on Bass behavior
  16. What is the content of this magazine, mainly talking about pros and competition or just general bass talk?
  17. All i use most of the time is Texas Rig on spinning combos, some of my rods has braid others fluro carbon between 7 - 8 lbs For my other baits, cranks, frogs, etc i have one BC combo
  18. Exactly that is my main concern sensibility, i was gut hooking a lot of fish with Yo Zuri Hybrid for some reason i felt nothing only noticed something when the fish starts to go away with the line i mainly fish texas rig with 1/8 weight im experimenting on lines at this moment and so far i liked fluro a lot on my spinning outfit and im still deciding if a put braid on one of my rods as a test for sensibility Amazing! there is so much for the fish to see before he can even notice the line and still they bite that is an amazing thank you so much for that
  19. And do you believe Sunline is true to the 7lbs limit? i know some lines can go above the limite they say dont know about sunline
  20. Sunline website shows that the recommended lbs to use on a spinning reel is 7lbs, went to BPS and asked the guy that works there, he said people buy 8lbs and 10lbs to use on spinning reel without problems after the 10lbs they not recommend since the line starts to jump from the reel and causes a lot of issues How far i can go on a 2500 spinning reel with Sniper FC? can i go above the 7lbs like maybe 8 or 10?
  21. Well this is interesting, so 7-8lb fluro is stronger than 20lb braid? in this case if a go with straight fluro is a better option than braid ? specially on a spinning rod
  22. Yes there is a difference about Florida, all the grass and vegetation at the lakes and canals for this reason maybe straight braid has no difference than an invisible line
  23. That is the worst thing about fluro you need to worry too much about the line, braid you just dont care
  24. do you think for texas rig fluro makes more sense than braid? higher sensibility?
