squarebills, topwaters for lmb - do you switch them out or move a lot, or keep throwing in the same spot
Don't worry about water temp, just let the fish dictate the pace. Once the fish get that shallow in cover, the prespawn is well underway. Traps are almost as variated as lipped cranks, shape, size, rattle, weight, rate of fall etc. from the bank, yo yoing them late winter through the pre spawn is prime time.

squarebills, topwaters for lmb - do you switch them out or move a lot, or keep throwing in the same spot
This time of year I know those fish are in shallow cover, stump and lily fields. From the bank I'll hit the cover from every angle I can. You can catch fish just running by cover, but getting them to react by bouncing them off cover will gives me best results. It helps to have a shallow SB from the bank, like kvd 1.5 shallow or ima bill lowen.

Jerkbaits
Duo makes outstanding JBs that compliment Vision 110s well. Different sizes have different shape, lip, actions and weight layouts. The 100sp is rounded like pointer 100, has more of a linear action. 100sp doesn't have a weight transfer system, but casts very well. The weight is really balanced so you can get aggressive without it blowing out. The 120sp has flatter sides, similar to a vision, but it's a bigger, more aggressive bait IMHO. 120 has a more lateral action compared to the 100, think like walking the dog. 120sp is a little heavier than a vision, I think they're 5/8. The 110sp is like a hybrid of the 100 and 120. It's sides are flatter than 100, but nothing like a vision 110, gives good roll and flash. 110sp tends to blow out if worked hard, especially if you aren't fishing it tip down. Although the 110sp is a good bait, it's the one I use the least. The 85sp might be my favorite, especially in the fall. It's a spinning gear JB only 1/4 or slightly over. It's action is very similar to a vision, kind of like a 110jr jr lol. What's also nice about duo is the hooks they use are on par with gaming Nanos sharp wise. They have that O'Shaughnessy bend to them, which I like. The paint jobs arent on the level of MB, but they aren't far behind. Like MB they offer too many good ones lol. I've got one left in pro blue. It's the only JB I have that was virtually a true suspend out of the package.

Zman Chatterbait question
Yes, the hooks on the customs are smaller. You used to be able to choose hook size between a 3 or 4/0 in the 3/8. It's not so much the bite of the hook, but the length of the shank. The short shank on the customs allow you to really tighten that profile up if you trim the skirt. The 4.5 spunks fit a little better if you're using the bait in a more traditional sense. I liked to fish the bottom with them in late winter and I do much better with a smaller profile. With the skirt trimmed, a 3.5 fits, but the tail is shorter, more subtle than 4.5.

3" Easy Shiner vs. Swing Impact for Spotted Bass
The SI has more of aggressive tail kick compared to the ES, but doesn't have as much body roll of the fat. The only drawback to the SI is that it's not very durable.

Picasso tungsten football Beast coast sniper composite Keitech football For lead football jigs, dobyns is hard to beat. The hook is outstanding, good high quality hybrid material skirts and they're cheap.

Mann’s baby 1-minus replacement
The kvd 1.5 shallows are pretty solid. Ima bill lowen SB might be my favorite. Components are great, computer chip lip and they take a beating. The ima runs shallower about 1' on #12FC and deflects better at lower speeds compared to the kvd. I do like that the KVD is silent and that makes a huge difference where I fish.

flipping stick daiwa tatula 7 foot 6 HF vs tatula elite (Ish monroe) 7 foot 6 HF
According to a Daiwa rep I talked to, the blanks are the same, so no advantage there. The guides are lighter and can help out with balance, especially on longer rods.

Best Bait Caster for a Beginner?
I would suggest an slx xt. It's 30 more than the slx a, but the advantage is you can access the brakes without removing the side plate. That's a big advantage when you only have 1 BC reel.

Muse B2?
Anyone have or handle these? Muse B1s were awesome, so I'm really curious to hear how the new ones are.

Liking the new Tackle Warehouse site now.
They had the best site in the entire industry. I can't figure why they had to change it, as it lost all the best features and gained nothing.

New Daiwa Tatula Elite Spinning reel
I was curious to see how Daiwa would address the hole they left in line up as they really didn't offer a featherweight reel anymore.

Mega bass 110 best alternatives?
Duo 120sp is pretty close and quality wise they're neck and neck with MB for 10$ less. Awesome colors and the best stock hooks on any bait IMHO. Honestly I would recommend you get a couple vision 110s, if that's the action you want. You will spend a comparable amount buying clone molds and upgrading the trebles, looking for a bait that has similar action.

What a good drop shot rod under 100$ ?
If you can get a 13 Omen black 3, I would check them out. They're on sale for 100 or cheaper.

Tatula MQ LT vs Stradic FM 2500 Spinning Reel
IMHO Daiwa didn't do itself any favors by adding so much weight to Tatula, which was one of the older LTs best advantages. Weight wise both reels are about even. Haven't even touched an FM, but I think FL has a slight edge as far as precision goes and I really prefer an AL main. Line lay is good on both, but Stradic has a definite edge. Where Daiwa beats Shimano is power. The older LT main gears were considerably bigger and the MQ body allows a even larger gear that provides a serious amount of torque relative to reel size. Honestly with 3k and smaller reels in FW I've never had a situation where I've needed more power than a Stradic can provide. You probably can't lose with either reel, it just comes down to preference.

New Zillion rods being introduced
I don't get it either. No one said Zodias ripped off M1 when the went to MQ. Had they done it the year after mq expride came out, I could understand the feeling a little more, but MQ has been around some time and it's not exclusive to any 1 brand

New Zillion rods being introduced
I've got a bunch of SC Avid Inshores that have beaten up on jetty's and boats on rough seas for years and they hold up great. If you're really putting time in, they're worth the extra 100$ for the corrosion resistance. On those heavier 7'6 and longer rods with double foots, they cut a substantial amount of weight, about an ounce. Theyre beautiful too, which helps lol.

New Zillion rods being introduced
Would be nice, but I really doubt you're going to see Ti frames, but Sic inserts are definitely possible.

Jerkbait Rod for Short Angler
I'm an inch shorter and I use rods up to 7'1 with no issues. Most of the water I fish is shallow and if I really fish a JB tio down, often it's going to deep. If I didn't have to worry about that and I was after a dedicated JB/top water, I would get a 6'7 or 6'8. If you want to save some money,13s 6'7 M F blanks are outstanding JB blanks. TW might have some Muse blacks left for 130, not going to get anything close for that price.

Mustad triple grip short shank users
They're good hooks for the money. Sometimes they aren't super sharp in the bulk packs because they bounce around, but it's an easy fix. I like them for cranks, especially ones im running through cover. I've had some days where Ive struggled to keep fish on, but it's not typical.

St Croix new PhysyX rod series
Eww. Those Trigon handles on the Mojo's feel like cheap plastic. Can't imagine sinking 4$ into one. Shame to see SC going this way.

!What’s your absolutely favorite high end flipping stick ?
I brought that up last year to a guy whos involved with SC, among other concerns. Allegedly SC sees it as a liability for 2 reasons that can hurt sales. 1 being the weights arent super accurate, which is obvious as it's impossible to mass produce rods at the same weight, but some consumers don't understand that. The other reason was that their higher end rods, like LTBs jump up in weight compared to the lower mid PP rods like Victory and the older Mojo's. Supposedly they were concerned that could cause newer customers to gravitate to lower PP lines instead of Legends. Context is important, because he made it clear that SC is aware that their rods caught a bad rap for poor balance, especially in the circles of FW bass anglers.

Tip for using screwlock/springlock hooks in Zman ElaZtech baits.
Mustad makes removable pins that that work great with elaztech. The hooks aren't bad, but I just take the pins off and put them on gamis.
