Yeah, what happens if you miss with that one shot? It seems if you are far enough away to miss with a shotgun, you are probably not in enough danger to be defensive. I would worry more about being outnumbered. In which case a clip would be desirable. Anyways it's an awesome project Ken, you do great woodwork. Ronnie I would guess that if one perp gets blown away by that shotgun the others are not going to stand around waiting to see if its more than a single shot.
  3. I think THEY did...right on stage. Had it on...turned it off.
  4. The older you get, the more you realize how short life really is. I guess it seems like it's going slow, then you look back and realize how it really wasn't. 61 in March. I remember being 10 years old and thinking about the year 2000, how far away it was. Its been here and gone, in the blink of an eye.
  5. Oh man, I love that. I keep moving in the snow, but I have a 4x4 pickup - much different than a heavy SUV. All the 4wd in an SUV does is get you up your driveway. Ford Exploders are the worst offenders, too, LOL. I have both a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Dodge Durango. I have never stuck the Jeep in anything. Its 4wd as needed. The Durango is AWD but put it in 4 lock and it goes anywhere. But cautious driving and sensible speed are also the rule.
  6. All the schools are closed here in Western PA, but I don't get it. There's really nothing going on. Just cloudy now. Had a little snow earlier but the trucks have been out and the roads are wet. Geez, I hate it when everybody's home.
  7. Classic Benny Hill!
  8. Love the recovery from the "PIT". Looks like she flips 'em off at 0:41. Reminds me of the Keystone cops.
  9. It's gonna be a long winter. :-[
  10. The two teams probably shouldn't have been matched in the first place.
  11. My nephew worked at TB years ago. Even then he said if you knew about the refried beans, you wouldn't eat them. Guess this news about the beef is enough to make me stop going.
  12. Nice! I notice the lure in his mouth. That is quite large also. Big baits for big fish. What other equipment were you using when you caught him?

  14. I scored big on some rapalas. Looks like they were on sale orig. for 25% off, then 50% off the sale price.
  15. That pretty much sums it up. ;D
  16. Fox reported, this afternoon, that they had heard of an armed individual firing at the shooter, but it was unconfirmed at the time and it was unclear if the person was security or a private individual.
  17. It's not the price itself necessarily. It's the rapid ascent from "dirt cheap" to a considerable expense that really gets me. I'm 31, started driving when I was 16. Gas was under $1 when I first drove and last year it touched $4 near me and greatly exceeded it other places. Venezuela is cheapest gas the world. Middle East is pretty dirt cheap too. For speedbead, the rapid change is the price for barrel of oil and price of U.S. dollars. Not to mention some companies get stuck with higher price for the barrel. And unfortunately, its going to get worse before it gets better. There is talk of pricing oil in other currencies.
  18. In PA, we are to voluntarily pay use tax on any thing purchased outside the state on which no tax was collected. So in other words, if I buy something from Florida, and they don't charge me a sales tax, I am to remit to PA 6% of the cost of the item. They actually sent small business owners notices a few years ago that we were to go through our records for the last 3 or 4 years and remit sales taxes on items we may have purchased that were not tax exempt. Failure to do this could result in an audit. I think the word "piracy" fits here.
  19. Because they could be lower.

When it does, life in the east, as we know it, is over!
  22. I witness that a few times growing up. The outside world was my entertainment.Always broke out laughing. Yep, if you want free entertainment, go park yourself on a bench inside a mall for a few hours. Its amazing. Contrast that with they way people dressed and acted 100 years ago. Is it any wonder we're on the downhill side.
  23. Poor Harvey, he's trying so hard not to laugh he's going to wet himself ;D
  24. I'm probably the only person on here that can say this but I don't buy or sell on ebay. Never have, never will.
