  2. I agree, the do it yourself kits are very simple to use, give them a try. Just make sure you don't get any of the rod tip glue on yourself, that stuff gets hot! https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/fuji-rod-tip-repair-kit https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fuji-Original-Rod-Repair-Kit-Black/19887506

  8. Went out this Saturday and Wednesday with a friend, and we caught some fish. Most of them came on a jerkbait(Lucky Craft Pointer, Megabass 110+1), but one came on a Megabass dark sleeper.
  9. Caught about 8 fish today, all on jerkbaits, at Lake Lenexa. The wind was awful. Biggest was 2.5 pounds. Water temps broke 51 degree back in a pocket of timber. Went to Douglas county lake, last weekend and caught 8 bass and two crappie. Biggest was 3.5-4, water temps never broke 43 degrees. They came on jerkbaits, and one on a Megabass Dark Sleeper.

  24. I fished with this combo the almost the entire fishing season last year, and it worked great until it got cold, and the reel started acting up. Since I used the reel so much, it also got really dirty and had to be cleaned. I just bought a $80 Bass Pro Shops Extreme Baitcasting reel for that rod, and it is awesome! I would suggest this reel. One of the guides on the vengeance rod got messed up. The inside lining of the guide chipped out. I was pretty rough with this rod, so probably my fault. I plan on fixing it with super glue. Other than that it is a great $50 rod.
