Picking DTL was hard. There were some guys I wish I had saved for the classic last event, and some I thought would do well this tourney, but saved them for the classic too.

Got my first frog fish of the year this weekend as well! Fish are on beds. I got my first ever bed fish, it is an awesome bite!

I've had days where I've caught a fish every cast on a whopper plopper. My R2S plopper is missing a lot of paint.

Went out to wyco yesterday evening, on my neighbors boat. I caught a small LMB, and a decent white bass. Water temps reached 64.8, fish were hitting bugs in the back of Boy Scout. I got bit on a frog twice.

Does fishing clothes(Bibs, Huk stuff, buffs, hats, etc) not count?

Hey guys, I was wondering if you can tell me what kinda umbrella rig this is. I've been looking for more of a finesse umbrella rig, and this fits the bill. It has four blades, and one jig. The jig is a chatterbait if you look closely. Now I need to know the name, so I can buy one! Thanks!

I most likely won't go there unless I can go with my buddies. You've got me all interested now, so I want to find out lol. Maybe go for those smallies. That is a great smallmouth pb! I've caught hundreds of smallmouth, but not one on a baitcaster. My smallmouth pb is a generous two(probably 1.5), caught at Beaver river near Branson:

Yikes! I was fishing a farm pond and lost my entire jig box. I had just started fishing jigs, so there was only $50-$75 worth of stuff in it. I think it bounced off the four wheeler. A few people fish there so hopefully it got someone into jigs!

Pretty cool that SMP has smallies! My last guesses are Lake Quivira or Lake Olathe if they have smallmouth.

Reel as tight as you can, and pull backwards. That always works for me. You might have to cut it if you are using heavy braid, without a leader.

According to google SMP and Lake Lenexa have smallies, but I doubt that, right? I give up. Were you on the Missouri or Kansas side of KC?

I was gonna guess Clinton or Perry, since they have smallies. I have no idea a city lake with smallmouth... Would wyco be considered a city lake???
