  1. Email zman and they'll send you some new baits. If it's in a rod locker or boat storage compartment, I'd leave everything, but the zman plastics. If it's in direct sunlight I'd take everything and put it in the shade.
  2. That isn't a fish. That's a football!
  3. Just found this video on Bassmaster.com, and I really enjoyed it. John Cox is my favorite pro angler, so that might be why I liked it so much. About these two tournament anglers, and there friendship they had as kids to this day. There are some really funny stories. Check it out! https://www.bassmaster.com/bass-basics/video/fishing-friendship-cox-and-carson

  5. It was pretty clear in some spots, and stained in others.
  6. Thanks Your fish looks a lot bigger than the other guys.
  7. Didn't Lee Livesay win 2020 Guntersville with this frog? I know he put a tungsten weight in it to make it heavier on the mat, but other than that I don't think he did anything else? Maybe it's supposed to look like a frog eating the mat? ?
  8. If a fish is only 18 inches I HIGHLY doubt it is an 8 pounder.

I wonder what their suspicious activity was?
  10. That sounds like an awesome catch! Thanks for the advice. Sucks to hear about those tourneys,. More than 5 boats on that lake would be crowded. Is there any offshore stuff?
  11. Really?! I would have never guessed, the fishing was pretty easy, and we caught a lot of fish over 3/3.5. Did we just have a really good day? We all tried flipping and frogging the mats, but couldn't get bit. There were even bluegill popping bugs in the mats. I had a nice fish jump right next to me as I was paddling over a mat. We only caught one fish on the dam. The lay out and cover reminds me of bone creek, if the fishing at bone was easy and there were mats.
  12. I gotta agree here!
  13. Went out to a lake about an hour and a half away from the house. Got there at 6, and fished till 1. It was one of the best/most fun days of fishing I've ever had. We flipped mats, frogged, threw the jackhammer around a little bit. These fish are the hardest fighters I've encountered in Kansas. 3/4 people our group caught a 4+ pounder, and my buddies fishing from there boat said they had about a 20+ pound bag for best five. I had a 12-15 pound bag. We didn't catch a ton of fish(10-15 for me), but everyone of the fish I caught towed the yak, and tried there best to get away. When we first got to the lake one of my buddies threw a Arashi Glide in 3 foot of water, from the bank, and hooked up on a fish, but lost it at the bank. Shad were spawning. Only caught one frog fish, which was the only dink of the day. This is my new favorite lake in Kansas. My biggest was a four caught on a lizard^
  14. Nice! That canoe rig amazing! What do you use to hold yourself in place, or do you have a trolling motor on there?
  15. Went out to the lake with a few buddies today. I only caught one dink the whole time. Caught em on a dbomb, jackhammer, big fish was on a lizard, and one on a frog (the dink). Big fish was almost 4 pounds. Had about a 12-15 pound limit for best five fish. The fish in this lake were the hardest fighters ever. It was a blast!
  16. Swim a ned rig/small swimbait by them
  17. HUGE thanks to @BoatSquirrel!!! He put a post on flea market forum, about sending some free ned heads and maybe some other free stuff you like/want to fish. He sent the heads and a lot more! I can't wait to get out to use them!!! Thank you!
  18. Hmm, I wonder if it just fishing fever lol. I too hope nothing serious is causing them.
  19. Why is kennedy so shaky? It seems he is always shaky and has a hard time moving around his boat? You know why? I've seen other anglers tie knots and stuff, and there hands are super shaky.
  20. Steve Kennedy has used them for several top finished this year, on the bassmaster elite series. He used the Strike King Bottom Dweller Spinnerbait (1 3/8 ounce) to get a fourth place finish at Pickwick. He uses them in heavier current, and when he wants the lure to get down quicker.
  21. My parents aren't driving me to Texas. A long way to hitch hike, so sadly no.
  22. Busiest man in fishing right that there.
  23. Great work! I know what hotel I want to stay at next! These guys thrive in ethanol tanks. Secretly throw a few in and then tell your boss they need to be removed, and that you're the perfect guy for the job.
  24. Holy smokes, that is a lot of flatworms! A single pack on ebay is $25 right now.
