Went to wyco today with my neighbor, and we caught 4 bass and lost two, before the rain started. Lost a good fish. Best day I've ever had out there. Slowly figuring it out.

Regular. I bought a BPS rod with micro guides this winter, and had to learn to tie the FG knot just so I could have a fluoro leader. I much prefer regular guides. What @J Francho said, they seem to get wrapped up with braid really easy.

Had a little opossum eating the cats food on the back deck. I was walking out to get something for my mom, and bout stepped on him. He ran under the porch, I ran and got my airsoft pistol. I found him under the deck, shot him a couple times, and as far as I know he is still under there. Can't believe he was out there in the middle of the day.

Swimming a ned rig is deadly. I've hads days where nothing else will get it done. I think I read somewhere that Ned Khede(maker of the ned)swims the ned 6 inches above the bottom. Really fun bite. Cast it out, let it sink for a couple seconds, reel, pop it, set the hook!
