  1. I think it was just swiping at it.
  2. All of these baits look great! If you want your Rick Clunn stx jerkbait to suspend, you gotta put suspend dots/strips on it. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=30&searchtext=suspend+dots They are really fast floaters, at least mine is anyway.
  3. A largemouth bass has to be at least 3 pounds to be 18 inches, according to the pond bass magazine, which has a bunch of articles on this website. That is a great fish.
  4. Dead mole For such tiny creatures they make big hills. My dad trapped this one. I got tired of waiting for the trap to go off, so he took over.
  5. Casting into the creek in the backyard. There aren't any catchable fish in the creek but a great spot to check out lures in the water. Snagged this nasty dead mouse. I think it got washed into the creek while it was flooding.
  6. I did awful. 720 points or something. ?‍♂️
  7. Yeah, super clear. Water is up a lot though.
  8. Went to leavenworth county lake today, and fished out of the lifetime kayak. Caught about 20, and a bunch a pad crasher. My buddy caught a four, and my biggest was about 2. It was a lot of fun!
  9. Had Lineberger on my team. Swapped him out with Kyle Monti, cost me 73 places.
  10. If anyone is heading out to wyco for the tournaments or just fun fishing, and would like a backseater let me know! I live 2 minutes from wyco, and I can pay tournament fees, and can help with gas.
  11. Anyone been fishing the wednesday nighters?
  12. You've never tried punching a chatterbait? ? Sorry, a chatterbait can be fished anywhere within reason.
  13. A chatterbait can be fished everywhere. Throw it to any promising cover, docks, rocks, pads, grass, etc. I throw mine with a 7.1.1 gear ratio baitcaster, 6' 9" medium heavy rod, 15 pound red label fluorocarbon. Vary the speed of your retrieve. Pop the rod up occasionally to make the chatterbait dart. Find a hook set that works for you. Set the hook hard or just sweeping the rod. When you set hook on the fish maintain constant pressure, so you don't lose it. Let us know how it goes!
  14. Some of these crazy people need an attitude adjustment
  15. G-G-G-Giant garter snake
  16. Jigs and Jerkbaits! Finesse jigs, swim jigs, brush jigs, etc, etc. Hook sets on jigs are amazing. Nothing like a jerkbait bite. Fighting a big fish on jerkbait tackle is like nothing else.
  17. Howdy Jake, welcome to Bass Resource! Sweet yak!
  18. I wouldn't say it was muddy, just pretty stained, it has definitely cleared up a lot, at least on the dam. I doubt I could see my table rock special vision 110 in more than a foot of water. There was a rocky point where you could see the bottom in a few feet of water.
  19. If you get another ripped off tail, try what @The Bassman came up with. I didn't have any of https://discounttackle.com/products/z-man-trd-spinz-tail-spinners-3-pack?_pos=1&_sid=3c47c6abd&_ss=r , so I took a small spinnerbait blade, a barrel swivel, a split ring, and a screw lock from a swimbait hook. You can straight reel it or fish it like a regular dark sleeper, they catch fish!
  20. Trying to get my neighbor to fish some of the tournaments. He has all the wyco boat fees paid. We'll make it out there eventually. Read through that wyco thread. I know what baits I'll have tied on next time I go out there now! Thanks for turning me onto it!
  21. That looks like a dark sleeper jighead. I'd use it for a tube.
  22. Went to wal mart for special sun glasses for bed fishing. Left with some finesse spinnerbaits and a couple buzzbaits.
  23. No! Can't believe I haven't found it yet. I'll go check it out! Thanks!
  24. You might have a little bit more success with this in https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/forum/45-marine-electronics/ , if you haven't been sent a pm already.
