  1. @Bluebasser86 I haven't fished there(I don't think), I've got two guess. I'll say unless you don't want me to. How close is a "city" lake?
  2. @Bluebasser86 This is the part where you tell us where you caught her! ? Fantastic Fish!!!
  3. Go to you profile page, which is right above the browse and right below the menu button, and then click edit profile, you should be able to edit your PB there.
  4. Congrats! When are you going to get him to join the forums?!? ?
  5. Have you tried the FG knot? It takes a bit of practice, but is a really strong knot, it is also very small and goes through small guides. I also tie the blood knot when I don't have time for an FG knot. The blood knot isn't as strong, but when tied right I've never had either of them fail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPTzkep9xlI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q06QKib1AEQ The FG knot is better for bigger braid to bigger fluoro.
  6. Take it apart and oil and grease it. I take my reels apart and clean them, a couple times a year depending on how dirty they get. As you take it apart you should lay out the parts, in the order you took them off. DO NOT just throw them in a pile. Abu Garcia reel oil, Penn Reel grease, and q-tips work for me, make sure you remove any little fibers that come off the q-tips though. The oil and grease are available at Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops.
  7. War Eagle finesse jig. I've had days when I couldn't get a bite while hopping or dragging, but then I swam it, and caught a fish every cast. I think the trailer is also important, based on what you are trying to do. Definitely my all around jig.
  8. 98.8% 118th place, in DTL!!!

  10. @Jig Rookie He said it was 3-4 ounces, if that helps. Here is an awful pic I got off live.

  16. Wilson Lake high school tournament from two weekends ago, not sure why I never got around to posting anything. Water temps were low, from cold temps and cold rain the day before. It was also super windy and the lake was white capping. Water levels were about three feet low as well. A bunch of teams in the field of 47 didn't catch anything. My partner caught one fish on a strike king jig, off a brush pile under a dock. It weighed in at 3 pounds 49 ounces. He also broke one off. Our trolling motor stopped working so our boat captain ran the big motor while we fished. Without the trolling motor we couldn't fish slow or most of the spots we wanted to fish. It was a tough tournament but we managed 25/47. We learned a lot and are more than likely going to get a Garmin Force for the new trolling motor! My buddy caught the fish so he is holdin' it.
  17. @MelvernJM Great smallie!!! Did you keep the rainbow? What were you catching them on? Anyone going to make it too the Bass Nation Tournament at Milford this week?
  18. Killed myself with some picks and couldn't have been better with others...
  19. A Zman ned rig will catch just about anything. The biggest crappie I ever caught was on one! Throw this and you'll get some of everything, including those bass!
  20. It should, looks like a quality scale for only $20! Test it for accuracy on something like a 5 pound weight.
