Wishin4Fishin, About 3 weeks ago I bought the MBR844C IMX. I look forward to using this rod. I personally would go with this one. I think that you would be fine with either one. M_Fields

I have the IMX, I use this rod for jerkbaits. I like the way the rod loads up. You should like the GLX, and I would say the rod excels for a jerkbait rod. You could use this rod for other presentations, but would not call the MBR782c an all around rod. M_Fields
