  1. You bet! Enjoy! You’ll have to let me know what you think of those Bellows Gills. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to use them.
  2. Shoot, @jbsoonerfan you nailed it. The Shimano jerkbait was a nice surprise, I had no idea they were available yet. I'm already making plans to sneak away a couple times this week to give it a spin. That straight up gave me that nostalgic feeling of getting the toy you really wanted for Christmas. I've also always wanted to give those BFE's a try and never have, and Sweet Beavers are one of faves and I was almost out of them. Dreaming of some flooded brush on my home lake to flip. Thank you and Merry Fishmas. A+
  3. That looks like a smallmouth catching son of a buck right there.
  4. That’s what I use for skipping too.
  5. Flip that sucker in the spring if you have flooded buck brush.
  6. I suck and my guy won't be getting his until next week sometime. But I'm guessing before Christmas, so I guess it's not all bad.
  7. Cook, Schmitt, Arey, Hudnall, Clent Davis. I’ll change it 9 times before February.
  8. For me it’s a no.5 Shad rap or Berkley Flicker Shad. You can troll (I despise trolling) those and you will catch everything in the lake.
  9. Get yourself some Keitech easy shakers and cut them down to use for a trailer. That is my favorite way to make a slow day improve. I use 6lb line and it’s seems to be fine, no bent out hooks. I keep the drag a little looser just in case. I swim, hop, twitch, deadstick it.
  10. We have a winner! You get a box of rice-a-roni, the San Francisco treat and “bass fishing” the home game.
  11. Try that on a mojo rig next pre-spawn. They’re money.
  12. I received my order from C&C Custom Baits today. I'm sorry that this picture doesn't do the craftsmanship any justice. They nailed my descriptions of what I wanted. The matte black finish is sweet on the spinnerbait and shakeyheads. I'm pretty pumped to put these to use. Anyone want to guess what scenario I had in mind for most of these???
  13. Anyone know of someone or some company around the KC area that will do rod repair? One of my old Lew’s rods is missing a middle guide and I got a replacement guide, but I have zero clue how to attach it. Would rather have a pro take care of it. Thx!
  14. Yes! And those Little Trooper Mini Ned Craws look fun too for creek smallies.
  15. I have that rod and I love it. I can throw a wide range of treble hook lures, and I even throw chatterbaits on it frequently. Unique grip material.
  16. 2 jerkbaits that I can’t seem to find available to try, but look awesome. 1. Shimano Bantam World Minnow (coolest thing I saw during iCast) 2. Megabass X-Nanahan
  17. I see some Warts in there, any of them pre Rapala? That would be a valuable discovery.
  18. The smallest Keitech Crazy Flapper.
  19. TW is live and crashing as usual during this sale. ? Edit: They got it put back together really quickly. Was working fine. ?
  20. This particular lake would be a candidate for that theory as its nestled in a community where for sure there would be chemical runoff. I cycled through a few different makes and models throughout the day and did have some suspend for me and some others that were wanting to float too. It's like hitting the lottery when they behave. I started getting bites on a somewhat slow day.
  21. In like flynn.
  22. That's a good idea! I'm going to have to try that. I was using 10lb Invisx, water temp was 50, so not crazy cold too. So yeah, who knows, I've read really good reviews on them, but I take those reviews with a grain of salt these days. Again, thanks for that idea. I'm always weary of changing the look of the bait with those dots/strips. Especially lures that they sit there and inspect before committing.
  23. I did end up putting on a different brand that's labeled suspending and it suspended, so who knows. My original plan was that it being a sinker, it would suspend instead of sinking, not float. Oh well, not a huge issue. Nothing a suspend dot cant fix.
