I got a wakebait for 7 dollars called a Strike King 2.5 wakebait in bluegill and I caught my PB on it! Idk of this type of wakebait is what you are talking about, but it isn’t too expensive. It’s pretty much a top water crank bait.

Maybe a jerkbait???

I don’t live down there, but I looked it up and I think it is a skipjack herring.

Yesterday my family rented a pontoon boat and I went fishing on it. Nothing too big, but I got 2 fish around 1 1/2-2 pounds and 3 more! Today was a slow day at my grandmas lake, but at the very end I got this around 1 1/2 pounder! Hooked and lost a big one tho.

My new PB pumpkinseed! My hands are big, and I could barely get my hands around him! I’m guessing he was over a pound. I’ve also been catching some fat little Bass and a couple of other panfish.

Nice fish! Idk any places near me that I can catch a Muskie, especially since I am stuck from shore. One day though!

I only do tackle on my bed when it is wintertime, as I have space in my garage. I haven’t forgotten a hook yet, but you never know.

Same here, but this time I waited for a few extra seconds and I got him in!

I do have one, and if I put my waders on, I wade down the stream and sometimes I'll catch a big fish! I've seen 4 pounders, and it's only a matter of time!

Update: This 2.7 pounder was a fitting end for this great weekend of fishing! Only had an hour, and the Wakebait worked! Edit again: I think my scale was actually right and this fish was a high 2 because it was so skinny, and it is probably skinny because in Michigan the spawn just happened. It’s a 4 pound frame if it was fatter!

This weekend has been the best fishing weekend I’ve ever had in my entire life. Caught 20 bass and this giant 4 1/2 pound PB is the cherry on top! Ate a Strike King 2.5 Wakebait in Bluegill color, and many other fish ate it as well! (It was so much bigger in real life.)

Man there are so many fish at my Grandmas lake this weekend! My 3rd biggest Bass of the year, a 2.75 pounder on a Keitech!

PB of 2021!!!!!! My scale was broken when I weighed it, so I’m gonna buy a new scale. I’m guessing it was 3 1/4 pounds! I hooked him on a Jerkbait and a swimbait, but I hooked and landed him on a small white spinnerbait. Edit: not my PB of 2021 anymore.

I’m not done fishing yet, but I got these 3 and another one that the picture was kinda bad on! I also hooked into a lot more, but today isn’t my best hook-up day. I’ll edit this post if I catch more!

For my spinning pole, which is Braid with Flourocarbon leader, it lasts a while for me, because when my flourocarbon gets either short or old, I could just replace it. The braid on there is 2 years old and still going strong!
