Nice fish! Idk any places near me that I can catch a Muskie, especially since I am stuck from shore. One day though!

Musky are fun, though often frustrating...we choose to use flies just to make them even more so...

We spent three days over this last weekend chasing them:

Saturday: didn't even see a fish.  Not one, of any kind.
Sunday: had 5 follows, 4 eats, none in the boat.
Monday: 6 follows, one eat, one in the boat, and a bunch of smallies.

28 hours of time in the boat with air temps approaching 100°.

 

Nice fish, I want to catch a big muskie or pike so bad!!

I couldn't even imagine how much work goes into putting a muskie into the boat on a fly. 

Nice fish. 

 

I was on the water Sunday in similar air temps and it was brutal. 

Spent more time in the water than on the boat.

It's not as tough as one would think, once you know what you're doing.

It's a lot  of fun though.
