I found this fishing hook in the hallway of my school! Maybe I am not the only person that likes fishing in my school. I’m keeping this hook, it seems like a decent hook to me.

Probably fell out of the bottom of your shoe.......

I've never bought these type of hooks before, so I know they aren't mine. I use EWG hooks instead of these.

Round bend hooks are good, they are all I ever use

I use EWG’s a lot, but use round offsets for weightless Zoom Tricks.

These will lose less fish as they get a better hookset, definitely worth a try. 

Find out who lost it and maybe go fishing with him (or her!) Fishing buds are the best...i have forgot a lot of things, but i always remember who i've fished with. Good times.

I agree. I too prefer this type of hook over ewgs and preferably a straight shank (the one you have is offset like an ref). I have nothing against ewgs, I still use them, but just have a preference.

The picture is messed up. The hook is perfectly intact.

I found one of those in my bed a few nights ago.

Maybe I should stop doing tackle while sitting on my bed...

somewhere in my kitchen is a bronzed, thin-wire size 8 UL spoon hook that popped out of the split ring months ago - I kind of hope I don't find it.

I only do tackle on my bed when it is wintertime, as I have space in my garage. I haven’t forgotten a hook yet, but you never know.

I drove my roommates in college crazy a couple semesters ago when I was less neat and organized because they would find fishing line all over the floor throughout the semester. I religiously tied new leaders on before every trip. I’m more neat now. I try not to leave hooks or line anywhere. Maybe a benefit of living with others is they’ll tell you when you’re doing something wrong or bothersome

The hook you found was put there for you to find it and then follow it along to other items like sinkers, beads, other hooks, expensive crankbaits, RICOs, G. Loomis rods, Steetz reels, Lowrance electronics, Phoenix bass boats and on and on until it happens...The girl who is interested in you will jump out from hiding, grab you, take off all of your clothes and tell everyone you are now engaged.

 

So be very careful out there. And remember, once you get to the electronics don't pick up any fishing gear you find on the hallway floor at your high school.
