  1. If there is an extra dock park there. Then go get the truck/trailer. Or if it’s safe to beach the bow on shore. Otherwise people will just have to be patient. You will have to wait for them too.
  2. Put a bait trap outside the garage. They eat the bait walk away and die. Our pest control company did this for us when we found mice in our kitchen wall. No more mice. I found dead mice all winter on the perimeter of the house. The pest control guy said it will kill mice for an entire block. They can smell it that far.
  3. I learned something new today?
  4. Hook sets are over rated. Proper gear and setup are much more important. I’ve gone back to worm hooks for everything except tubes. Snelling the hook correctly greatly improves hook up ratio.
  5. There are days I’ve fished all day till sundown and caught a sunburn. Then just after the sun goes past the horizon Caught fish after fish on a black spinner bait for 20-30 minutes. Suddenly it becomes a day you always remember.
  6. Up north the main forage is blue gill. I mostly fish plastic craws on t rigs. The blue gill still bite it but for some reason on my lake if a few gills hit it a bass will come eat it.
  7. Maybe the numbers aren’t there anymore. Happens in ponds a lot
  8. Not to steal the thread, but can anyone tell me how to get dried on drewl off of an iPhone? I’ll hang up and listen. Thanks
  9. Oh boy a tire thread???? Ive had good luck with Karrier so far Thus anecdotal information in no way means they are the best?
  10. Two words Cali-fornia
  11. Only the ones that won’t stay on a hook or tear to easily. Not sure that’s the baits fault though. More like improper rotation at the bait shop.
  12. Wacky rigged senko type worm under a big bass slip bobber. Drifting over large flats or submerged weeds. Use a cane pole if you can find one or the longest rod you own. When you catch a fish raise rod to 12 o’clock. Stick it between your back and chair, net fish.
  13. Wisconsin highways always have 2 things. Sometimes at the same time. Snow plows and construction cones
  14. Post some pictures of the deck and storage. There is always a way to modify. But it’s not always cheap.
  15. If there is one thing fishing has taught me. There are no rules. The fish dictate what they want. Most say fish the shade. Don’t fish flashy baits. Most of the time they are correct. But don’t be afraid to experiment. Could be the day of your life. Especially if your throwing something no one else is.
  16. There was a decent hotel up in Little Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. It got trashed by ice fisherman cleaning fish in their room. ? You can still smell it. Is a shame because it’s walking distance from the ramp.
  17. Texas rig Jig Crank bait Slow rolled swim bait on a Fin-Tech jig head Drop shot
  18. They are putting this engine in Raptors and Mustangs now. Just programmed and tuned differently
  19. Has the trailer package with inter cooler
  20. No disrespect but I asked for reviews from people that owned the Explorer . Then you left a comment that ended with I’ve never owned a turbo engine and don’t want to. I own a Honda. Not sure that either meets the threads requirements or is information that is valid and reliable. Until you’ve driven a Ford turbo motor you can’t really get it. I was the same thought camp as you until I bought my F150 2.7l turbo. Changed my way of thinking about modern engines. As far as the motor not handling the pressure, time will tell and it’s covered under warranty for 7 years.
  21. Test drove it today and was very impressed. We are waiting to close the deal. I was impressed with my F150 2.7L Eco boost and this suv is really nice. This SUV will get the job done and save me $50 a month payment. Save on gas and insurance too.
  22. I have worked at my current job for 17 years nights, weekends, holidays. It is the best paying driving job in this area. After putting up with their ridiculous “safety” restrictions. That have nothing to do with safety and everything to do with “corporate” job security. I am walking away. The money wasn’t worth the 17 years of lost family time I will never get back. They treat us like imbeciles that could not tie our own shoes without a video to guide us. 60-70 hours a week and no family time. In the end the money didn’t make that any easier to tolerate. Just my 2 cents.
