Ford Explorer towing
Looking for reviews from people towing with a Ford Explorer I4 turbo. Thinking about trading my f150 in. Need to downsize some payments. The one I’m looking at has a trailer tow package. I4 turbo 300 Hp 5000lb tow cap. My boat package is 2750-2900lbs with hydraulic brakes.

Can a hot car interior damage line?
Check your rod guides first, then consider better line.

External Transducer to a Minnkota Terrova Trolling Motor
You have 2 choices 1) Disconnect TM power!!! Remove 4 head screws. Remove head top and unplug motor. Remove head base screw and remove head base. Pull motor and drive shaft out of deck mount. Attach Transducer to motor. Zip tie cable to motor shaft base. Run transducer wire through deck mount. Reinstall everything in reverse order. Zip tie cable to head shaft base. There is no need to secure the cable along the shaft although some do. 2) Install transducer on motor. Zip tie cable to motor shaft base. Leave enough slack that the motor can turn 360 degrees. Zip tie cable to head shaft base. Although method 2 seems easier it is more likely to get caught or pinched sometime someway. Option 1 will last longer. The only exception is some transducer cables are too thick to go through shaft track.

Do you think George Perry's record is legit?
Why do people insist on trashing people in history? People who have accomplished something? People who made it happen when others said it could not be done ? ENVY

Any one hit wonders that just haven’t made a return for you?
My father gave me some really good advice about this very topic. Hold on to that lure. It will be effective again. Maybe not this year or next, but it’s time will come again when that’s all you will use.

Is there a decent baitcasting telescoping rod?
Ship the gear to one of them before you arrive. then you can just get a rod that comes in 2 pieces

Is fluorocarbon good as main line on a baitcaster?
I use all 3 but flouro is my main line for almost everything. It depends on the bait and where you use it. You can’t buy the cheap stuff though. FC sniper is what I use. Braid has no stretch. Top water and heavy cover. Monofilament has a lot of stretch. Top water, buzz baits. medium to deep crank baits Flouro falls in between them. For almost everything else.

Struggling Lately - Where to Fish Next
I would try going much further into the southern inlet arm. Start shallow were big boats can’t go. Work your way out

What do do when fish buries in weeds
The great thing about fishing is sometimes the fish win. Otherwise we would calling it catching. From the bank is tough. In a boat I would have gone and got the fish. Heavier gear maybe a better choice but will they bite that.? You will have to let us know. Good Luck

Too much tackle…what would you use?
Yes Dear I absolutely need to order more tackle this year. Later Ok what the heck am I going to remove from the boat so I can fit all this new tackle in the boat. It’s a sickness, a very expensive sickness. ?

.410 Recommendations
There are not too many women that can accurately consistently repeatedly fire a 410 pistol which is essentially a .45 caliber. I think a derringer could be even worse since the smaller the weight and size the bigger the kick. Honestly if the intended use is what you stated a 20 gauge shotgun would be a more useful tool. Or a 380-357 with scatter rounds just to make a bang and burn their butt.

Who Carries Daily.....and What Do You Carry...and Why..?
The holster I’ve found that works somewhat is one that fits the small of your back. Side holsters bulge to much. Not crazy about sitting with a belly holster.
