  1. The uni is a great all around knot in my worthless opinion.
  2. Thanks for answering my questions Tom.
  3. Ok , what the heck is a slip shot ?
  4. Awesome. The San Diego is one of my favorites. Do you normally cast the down shot or is it strictly for vertical fishing?
  5. So the palomar will work
  6. I googled “ tying a down shot “ and all I could get back was “ how to tie a drop shot “
  7. This actually answered the questions I had. Thanks . I don’t see any reason not to convert to stinger hooks unless they snag on the bottom more .
  8. Did they come with the braid or did you modify them?
  9. I read the title wrong and had a good hearty laugh. I thought it said “ I got my butt wiped today “ . Goodness gracious
  10. I just ordered this book on Amazon . Cost me 14$ with shipping.
  11. I like to hear a tight drag slip when I give them the mustard . What a wonderful sound.
  12. I stuff the body of a craw inside of a tube then Texas rig it.
  13. Hi Robert
  14. Red , white and blue.
  15. The rage menace is a good one. Sometimes in the summer I use a rage craw , with the flappers up and down instead of sideways. Dipping the tips in chartreuse will get you more bites on your bluegill colored swim jig as well.
  16. Hi Kid
  17. That’s what it’s all about ! Nice
  18. I like to tie knots and break them against each other for fun. Yes I am a loser. But what I have found on mono at least is the two strongest knots are the palomar and doubled San Diego. The fishing fool is a close third. But usually I just tie a uni cause if I do have to break off I want it to be at the hook. Breaking a uni on 20 # test isn’t as easy as a person might think.
  19. Berkley Vanish in 20 # for my ol ball and chain mainline .
