Who has the best prices and delivery on G. Loomis blanks and kits. Looking for a Mossy Back and a spinner bait rods. Thanks!
  4. Be prepared to give up all your free time and most fishing time. But to the bright side your fishing tackle will look great with no time to fish it. ;D
  5. Where did you find the billed bluegill at? I would like to order one also. I can find the floaters but not billed.
  6. I purchased a slow sinker a few days ago. The bait looks so real you think you need to fillet it for dinner. Have not had time to try it yet but I am so impressed with it I am thinking about ordering the floater. Wanted the billed blue gill but he is not making it anymore. He has made a Perch and it is on Ebay and at last account it was about $130 bid. Only five was made.
  7. Big M told me about it about five to six months ago. I used it for about four months then try the D2T again to finish up what I had left. The Flex Coat drys clearer, from the guys I paint for claims it holds up better, UV protection in it and so much easier to use. Like M said, X2.
  8. Any reason why not? They look great also!
  9. My hard bluegill came in today and I got to say it is the best looking swimbait i've seen. Can't wait to try it. Only one problem now, Bait Monkey says to order the floater also. ;D
  10. It will come back to haunt you. No time for fishing is very true. Everyone wants you to paint for them. I haven't gotten to go in Jan or Feb because of work and painting.
  11. I have a female hard bluegill ordered and cann't wait to get it. Ordered a Woodie Cisco that was on sale also that was on sale to receive the free shipping. Spring is closing in quickly.
  12. Bought a hard female bluegill and a woodie Monday from Mattlures.com. Some were in stock.

Mattlures has restocked the hard swimbaits again and has the sinkers in stock. I didn't let the bait monkey get me once this time. He hit me twice!

You can compare them to each and they are very close to the L.C. Best value for the money I know of. Never had one not run true yet. Good paint and sharp hooks. I'm lucky to have two within 20 miles either direction and a Bass Pro. ;D

Has anyone used any of the other bait by Mattlures. I have to pay $9.95 shipping for $.05 so I was looking at the Cisco Woodie also. It's on sale for $19.95 would end up only costing $10.00 that way. Thanks!

If you were going to buy a couple of 4 to 5 inch hard swimbaits, what would your choices be? We have lots of bream and shad in the river backwaters here. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Looking to buy several styles (patterns) of netting. WalMart and all the fabric stores aroung me only have two patterns. Any suggestions! Thanks
  19. Get some old cranks and start with them. The first crank you paint complete it and seal it. the others use them to practice on and you can wash them off. Light on the paint (trigger) and learn to blend. The rest will come. after about 20 cranks then put your first next to it and you will be suprised. Big M was a huge help to me when starting. The best advice I have is to put it down and walk away while you can. ;D

I don't know if this is the right place for this. There is a site texasbasstackle.com that has a sale on Norman Deep Little N and Deep G for $2.99 each. Colors are limited but if you paint no problem.
  21. Sorry guys! Didn't mean to upset the cart. I was just trying to improve.
  22. Haven't been thinking that way. Sounds like it would work great as it would be a soft touch if you happened to get to close. I will try it this weekend. Thanks!
  23. I understand. Everyone has a signature mark of some kind and his is the perfect eyes.
  24. Talk to Marty. He has some in the 25 foot range. Size the reel ratio and rod to the cranks or it will work you hard.
  25. Marty's eyes are always perfect. Is his drill bits? I have about 10 pounds of them in the shop. ;D Thanks again everyone.
