Some of the H2O works great some don't. The Rapala shad raps knockoffs comes through the water like you are pulling a stick. Little to no action, will not make the end of a cranking rod move or vibrate. Most of the others work great. Put my on Ebay.

Check the reel mechanic. Sent my to him and the price was reasonable and it is beter than new. I think he also has a reel advice forum on here.

I bought three of the new Curado 100DSV. The only reason was that I found them on sale at Simmon's Sporting Goods at $149 apeice and then received the $50 rebate per reel. I had to pay sales tax and shipping and ended up with $109 in each reel. I sent the old green Shimano 100 to Reel Mechanic and it performs better than the new reels and is also lighter. I have found that this is my primary reel for cranking becuse of size and weight. Never had another reel but Shimano but??????

Had to really hunt for info since Ebay pulled all feedbacks and info. Finally went to PayPal and found it. The seller name was hootcrazed. Called the company Hoot Enterprise Outdoor Equip. The guy I was talking was selling them as Lucky Craft. He was claiming he owned a tackle shop and was closing it down. All lures were sold as Lucky Craft lures and not look alikes. Ebay shut him down but he will most likely show back up under another seller name. Buyer beware!!!

There was a guy on Ebay selling them and they are some fake ones out there. I bought three of of Ebay for six dollars each and all three were fakes. Another man has filed charges against him. They must be true because Ebay has now suspened his account and any feedbacks left by him or for him has been revolked and no longer show. The ones that he left for me is now gone. :-? I hate liars and dishonest people with a passion.

I'm lucky here. Fish year round and constantly restocking. 21.2 lbs. Thurs. and 19.4 on Sat. best 5. Come on south and we will go anytime. Just need a few days notice.

They are offering all the subscribers a three year deal at $15 per year. They are saying if you let it expire then it will be $25 per year and when the three years expire it will be $25. >:(Let them know I was not happy but did the three year deal.

I don't use them. I always retie (cut 6 to 8 inches off) after a fish and keep a check on your line for nicks and bad places from banging and deflecting them off of rocks and wood. Lost several nice fish and cranks from not doing this.

Buy a few better lures so you will not be disappointed by not catching fish and the action of the lure. Rapala shadraps are a excellent bait (may cost a couple dollars more but worth it). Try matching the hatch.

Orginal bags. Keeps oil, scents and salts on them better. I use a worm bag and keep like together and that makes it easier to see what I'm running short on.

Send them south to me and I will give you a report. Fished all winter.;D

Thanks! Should have known to look there. The rod is a 7 ft. Daiwa but seems very front heavy. I will figure the weights this weekend and order them. Or I may just sell it and buy another rod.

I have a rod that needs balancing. What is the best kit to do this with and the best place to buy it. Or do I just need to sell it and let the bait monkey visit? ;D

Redear works great for me in mid July/August and early Sept. Never tried the others.

Let us know about the chatterstick. I saw one on a show and they were using it like a jerk bait in cold water. Also can be used like a crankbait.
