go slow and see about the bars that hook to your hitch that spread out with mudflaps to help keep some of it to a minimum

theres no wrong time of year to fish a jig, you aint gonna learn it if it aint in the water ,you gotta go through tough fishing to get to some good fishing, and even though you might only get 1 or 2 bites they should be a quality bite. Just remember get it in the water waiting till a different time of year is an excuse not a reason, good luck and keep us informed

i like to fish by myself but if i invite someone or someone ask to go ,i have 2 rules show up on time and dont be a dud lets have some fun out there. but showing up on time is the biggest no no for me, if your fifteen minutes late with no courtesy call dont bother showing up cause i wont be there

el salto mexico, a whole week lounging at a resort with food drinks bass and more drinks ive bass fished japan and i love the scenery at the local pond where i fished but the bass were very lathargic when i fished it

practice practice practice and then practice some more. First you wanna cast for accuracy not distance so set your reel up to where when you disengage the reel the lure falls slowly to the floor and hits it without over running, also start with a weight of around three ounces it will help you get a better feel for everything. And when you feel more confident you can take off more brakes .I have 2 brakes engaged on all my shimano reels all the time and now i have no problems with distance or accuracy but it took a while to get the hang of it. And when you feel like youve got it down practice some more cause you dont ;D good luck

the only way to know for sure is to catch it. baitfish is the exception cause they will look like a cloud of crap on your finder and the fish will be arched shape,but to tell bass from catfish youll have to wet a line. welcome to the site
