could be an ice rod the reels are usually held on with some sort of rubber clamp, or just a perch jerkin rod (but i aint sure why someone would spend money on a perch jerker)

It seems everytime someone starts a thread it wont be long before brand names get thrown into the mix. So with that i would like to say why im loyal to some brands. First off yamamoto baits is the first brand i am loyal to the reason is whenever i did my first tournament i drew one of the writers for Inside line Magazine well needless to say he was very helpful as a boater and tried to teach me as much as he could while we were on the water, after the tournament he came and handed me a box full of yamamoto plastics and said he would appreciate it if i used them and let himknow what i thought, so for his generosity and time to teach me about the baits i have stayed loyal to them............................................................................... The next brand i am loyal to is shimano this is because of the outstanding customer service ,and one time when i emailed them they sent me a huge shimano bag priced at $45 for just being a loyal customer, i know there are other reel companies out there such as shimano but shimano has never given me a reason to go and find out for my self. i have been very satisfied with their product and i have never even come close to being unsatisfied with them...................................... i would like to hear some of yalls stories of brand loyalty and why your chips fall where they do

ok so because either you cant afford them or you wont spend the money for them ,they are overrated. Comments like yours flat out tell me that you dont know your backside from a hole in the ground.Im not saying luckycraft is the end all be all ,im just saying they are no way over rated. It amazes me how every once in a while we get someone who post something negative about something without ever fishing it before whether it be rods reels or lures. The economy will recover. ding ding winner winner chicken dinner we live in a world where you better try to nest up some money for rainy days, companies around here have been laying off all year long, and most have gone out of business.But it will all come back around again. All you can do yourself is try to save as much as you can for rainy days, and try to be prepared.
