  12. Using a net would just lead to other unfortunate habits like fishing with live bait, trolling, or using spinning tackle for all your fishing. Start using a landing net and the next thing you know you'll be headed for shore lunch. It's a slippery slope. Am I the only one that saw this as sarcastic? I thought it was funny stuff. i thought it was very funny, cause im against all those things to ;D

  15. sure it can. sometimes when fishing gets tougher and weather gets colder we down size baits. a three inch senko on a dropshot should work for you. saying no its just absurd theres been plenty of big fish caught on anything ranging from beetle spins to flies. so i dont see how you can tell someone that something wont work for them.just cause it hasnt worked for you.

  20. depending on the weather i would try jigs with rattles ,spinnerbaits, and rattletraps
  21. I got to agree with string on this one. Deep crankin' takes alot to learn and takes a while to build confidence. Bumping a stump with a crank in 20' of water isnt the easiest thing to do. Or threading a deep crank thru standing timber without getting hung takes way more than just chuckin' and winding. I had to commit to learning it because crankin' deep effectively takes a whole lot of confidence and back then, I just didnt have confidence doing it. I'd throw it 15-20 times and if I didnt get bit, I never threw it the rest of the day. Now I throw a deep crank on just about every trip at some point and time. And its my favorite way to catch 'em.....by far. great post...stuff like that requires skill not just will power
  22. i keep my soft plastics in those rubbermaid totes and store them in the boat. i have them grouped as such 1. worms 2. drop shot baits 3. creature baits 4. lizards, frogs 5. grubs and tubes and flukes 6. craws 7. beavers and other look alikes 8. senkos 4inch seperated from the 5 inch 9.misc baits
