  1. Great bed fishing color. Not sure I'd use it any other time then spring time. That's just me though. There's so many awesome colors, it's tough to go wrong.
  2. Either way, I fish beavers alone, and as jig trailers. I have noticed ZERO difference. I usually don't pull them apart, if no fish after 10 or 20 casts, I separate them.
  3. There's so many types of Pline, which are you using?

  5. I didn't mean that I thought it was that big! Just that kind of dwarfed the one pictured. I'm in Tx, not Cali... my frame of reference is slightly smaller than yours! ;D Haha, I know I know! Just trying to make you feel extra good about losing a big fish ;D
  6. I never even realized you could flip a bail any other way besides manually until just a month or so back. I've always just manually flipped it over.

The B Mac show was hilarious, his comedy was hilarious, and his movies were great. The guy will be missed.
  8. That fish weight calculator is very inaccurate. Don't count on that. It's really tough to tell, even with a picture. Maybe it's time to buy a scale. :
  9. Nice fish Flech, don't worry about the other fish, she would have only gone 22lbs3oz, still woulda been short of the WR. ;D
  10. That blue gill one looks great bro.
  11. Revo STX - $170 shipped to your door through ebay.
  12. The white tee is the secret to catching big fish. Plain and simple. Congrats
  13. Dobyns 765 is an awesome rod. The 766 if you want to handle really heavy duty stuff. It's the best balanced flipping stick I've held, hands down. I can fish it all day without getting tired, unlike every other flipping stick I've tried.
  14. It's single handedly the worst line I think I have used. I have more confidence in 6lb line from many other companies, then 8lb sensation. I took it off after the first trip after several break offs.
  15. I throw swimbaits a lot, and have been sense February. My biggest fish on a swimbait so far is 9lbs11oz on a huddleston. Sense then, I have two fish larger, 12lbs6oz and 13lbs3oz, both on SMALL baits. Small baits do catch big fish, and big baits do catch little fish. 2lbers eat 8" huddlestons. Throw whatever you enjoy throwing most!
  16. That thing is awesome! Just might have to try one out! Great paint job
  17. Dobyns 806 Swimbait Rod / Daiwa Luna 300 / 25 and 30lb Pline CXX Baits: 10" Triple Trout, 8" Lunker Punker, 8" Huddleston, Spro BBZ 1 floater, 9" MS Slammer, Baitsmiths , Mission Fish , and more.
  18. Definitely buying a pack of those stupid senko things. Worst baits ever.
  19. 5lbs10oz - 6lbs 12oz
  20. Okuma if you'll pay the extra $10. Hands down. If not, $100 for the Fig Rig rod.
  21. I've been skunked about 15-20 times this year already.
  22. I'm coming back up there. Going to raid your spots! Matt, that's why I was so shocked to catch that girl. This is my first "real" summer, and the only thing I have heard from big bass guys was that big girls in the summer are tough to come by. Sticking that fish was an awesome shock. Thanks everyone else, and yah, Infidel, that is pretty sweet to be on the front of WB ain't it?! ;D
  23. I'm always in pursuit of my next Personal Best. Try top water , definitely keep a senko tied on to throw if it happens again, and like people have said, chances are, there's probably more then one good sized fish in that area. Forget about that ONE fish, and just fish that area HARD.
  24. Baby wake is awesome, but if you're really budget minded, the MS Slammer and Spro BBZ floater are both great wake baits as well. How much do you want to spend is more the question you should ask ;D So many options! Hudd 5 is my favorite, I LOVE baitsmiths too, they catch quantity and quality. I also really enjoy throwing a triple trout.
